Injury and practice picture
Close to evenThe quarterback gate reads PASS on both sides. Caleb Williams has played the last two games with no sign of a lingering hamstring problem, throwing for 308 yards against New England. We found no listing for Sam Darnold. The Bears did not have to file a report until Thursday, so their Week 8 practice picture is open. The bigger news is on the lines and in the backfield: Seattle left tackle Charles Cross has a high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss time, with guard Quenton Nelson newly acquired from the Colts. Chicago running back Kyle Monangai (toe) has missed three games, and tight end Cole Kmet is on injured reserve.
