FanDuel Predicts: Complete Platform Guide & Review
FanDuel Predicts is a CFTC-regulated prediction market backed by CME Group — the world's largest derivatives exchange. Trade Yes/No contracts on sports, financial markets, and economic events. Available in all 50 states for financial contracts. Sports in 18 states.
This hub is our running editorial review of the platform — what works, what doesn't, how the 2% fee actually prices out in practice, which sports states are live, and how it stacks up against Kalshi, Polymarket, and DraftKings Pick6. The twelve guide pages linked below each answer a single question in detail (fees, safety, states, strategy, app quality, promo code, and every head-to-head comparison). If you only have two minutes, read the Pros/Cons table below; if you're deciding which platform to fund first, jump to FanDuel vs Kalshi.
What Is FanDuel Predicts?
A contract is a Yes/No position on a specific outcome. "Will the Chiefs win Sunday?" trades at $0.62 — the market saying 62% chance. Buy YES for $0.62. If they win, you collect $1.00. If they lose, you're out $0.62.
CME Group lists the contracts. CFTC oversees the exchange. No house edge built into the lines — just market-priced probability and a 2% fee on payouts.

Is FanDuel Predicts Safe?
Yes. Two reasons: CFTC regulation and CME Group listing. These are event derivatives under federal commodity law — same regulatory framework as oil futures and Treasury contracts. Your deposits are held in segregated accounts, separate from FanDuel's operating funds.
Flutter Entertainment (FanDuel's parent) is publicly traded with $14B+ in annual revenue and decades of regulatory compliance. This is not a startup.

FanDuel Predicts FAQ
Is FanDuel Predicts the same as FanDuel Sportsbook?
No. Separate app, separate platform, different regulatory structure. FanDuel Predicts is a CFTC-regulated prediction market backed by CME Group. FanDuel Sportsbook is a traditional state-licensed sportsbook.
Do I need to live in a sports state to use FanDuel Predicts?
No. Financial and economic contracts — S&P 500, Bitcoin, CPI, GDP, oil, gold — are available in all 50 states. Only sports contracts are state-restricted.
What is the minimum trade on FanDuel Predicts?
$0.01 per contract. You can start extremely small while learning how pricing moves.
Is there a FanDuel Predicts promo code?
No code needed. The $25 bonus is automatically applied on sign-up after identity verification.
How does FanDuel Predicts pricing work?
Price equals implied probability. A contract at $0.70 means the market assigns 70% probability to that outcome. If you think the real probability is 85%, that gap is your edge.
