Nando's call: Nathan Fielder's Elizabeth Holmes documentary to win Best Picture, YES at 6 cents on Kalshi. It is a 99 on Metacritic and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, A24 opens it October 16, and Polymarket's board does not even list it. No documentary has ever been nominated for Best Picture. Nando thinks that is about to change.
What it is: You Can See Everything is the Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim documentary on Elizabeth Holmes, shot over three years in the run-up to her prison sentence, with Fielder on camera and Amanda Seyfried, who played Holmes in The Dropout, in it too. A24 sprang it as a secret screening at Telluride on September 6 (phones surrendered at the door), it played the New York Film Festival, and it opens in theaters October 16. It runs 174 minutes. At publish it sits at 99 on Metacritic across 11 reviews and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes across 17. A 99 is a score reserved for classics. Moonlight is on that list, and Moonlight won this award for A24. The board at publish: Kalshi has The Odyssey at 49 bid / 50 ask, The Black Ball (the Spanish multi-timeline drama) 29 / 30, Dune: Part Three 9 / 10, then this at 5 / 6 - fourth on the board by price, with 303,000 contracts open and $323,000 traded. Polymarket's winner board does not carry the name at all; it is lumped into Other with no bid. One exchange says six percent, the other says zero. That gap is the interesting part. Nando's entry was 3 cents over the weekend, right after The Guardian's review called it a once-in-a-lifetime collision of director and subject. It has doubled since, so the cheap price is gone and 6 is the rung on the board now. His read: the Why would I deceive you? memes have buried how seriously the people who have actually seen it are taking it, the favorite has taken dings on its storytelling, and every review from here is going to say some version of it outperforms the hype. Read this before you click: no documentary has ever been nominated for Best Picture, let alone won it. This contract needs a 99-year first, then a win over Christopher Nolan. At 6 cents plus a 1-cent Kalshi entry fee you are paying 7 cents for a dollar, so it has to be better than a 7% shot to own. The exit does not have to be the envelope: a nomination in January reprices a 6-cent contract long before March. Risks, straight: a three-hour documentary opening into a fall slate built for this award. If the Academy files it under Documentary Feature and moves on, which is what it has done with every documentary ever made, this trades to 1 cent and stays there. Prices are a 2026-10-05 snapshot; the market settles after the 99th Academy Awards in March 2027.
