Market rank orders teams by the mean of their two-sided mids across both venues. Sources: AP Top 25, Coaches Poll and, once this season’s first table is out, NCAA NET. KenPom is licensed data and is not shown here.
How to read this
Each price is a YES contract in cents, and the cents read as the market’s implied probability: 15¢ is about 15%. “Cheapest YES” is the lowest ask among venues with a real two-sided book, and an equal ask is a tie. “Gap” is the Kalshi ask minus the Polymarket US ask. You can sell a contract any time the market is open, well before April.
Kalshi charges a trading fee on each fill, not on winnings: 7% × contracts × price × (1 − price), rounded up to the cent, so it peaks at 1.75¢ per contract on a 50¢ contract and shrinks toward zero at the extremes. It is paid at entry whether the position wins or loses; there is no settlement fee. Resting (maker) orders pay no fee on most standard markets.
Turn any price into your own number with the probability converter, the EV calculator and the Kelly calculator. Compare the venues on best price and in Kalshi vs. Polymarket.

How the contract settles
On Kalshi, a team’s market resolves Yes if that team is the 2026-27 Division I men’s national champion. On Polymarket US, it settles to Yes if the team wins the final scheduled for April 5, 2027, and to No if the team does not compete or does not win for any reason. If the tournament is delayed and not rescheduled to within two weeks of that date, Polymarket US settles to the last fair market price. How settlement works.
