Kalshi Pro: The Complete Trader's Guide

Kalshi Pro is the exchange's new flow terminal — a multi-market Canvas, a ~2,000-market screener, a live trade tape, and perpetual futures with pro charting. This is the independent guide to running it: what every panel does, how to set it up, and the one thing it will never show you — which of your markets is priced wrong.

Last verified July 22, 2026. Kalshi Pro is in public beta; feature details are re-checked quarterly.

Quick Answer

As of July 22, 2026, Kalshi Pro is free and runs on the same account as the Kalshi app. Its Pro screener ranks roughly 2,000 markets by price, spread, depth, and 5-minute volume, with a live trade tape and perpetual-futures charting. But Kalshi Pro shows flow; it does not calculate fair value or edge. PredictionMarketsPicks is the edge layer that sits next to the terminal — paste your watchlist tickers and get an edge %, a tier, and a Kelly-sized position for every market we model.

What is Kalshi Pro?

Kalshi Pro is a trading terminal that Kalshi launched as a free public beta on July 13, 2026. It is not a separate product or a separate account — it is a power-user interface layered onto the same CFTC-regulated exchange. If you have a Kalshi account, you already have access; if you do not, you create one once and both the standard app and the Pro terminal open on it.

The design goal is a single workspace for a trader watching many markets at once. Where the standard app shows one contract at a time, Pro gives you a drag-and-resize Canvas, a screener ranking roughly 2,000 markets, a live trade tape, and perpetual-futures markets with TradingView charting. Every panel is built to answer one question fast: what is moving right now.

The Canvas, explained

The Canvas is Pro's home surface: a workspace where you drag markets in, resize and arrange the panels, and keep a live view of everything you care about on one screen. You can place resting orders directly on the book, batch-cancel open orders, and make bulk edits across positions without clicking through one market at a time.

A useful way to think about it: the Canvas is where you park a theme — a commodities board, an election board, a crypto board — and watch the whole cluster breathe. It is a far faster cockpit than the app for anyone running more than one or two positions. What it is not is a valuation tool: the Canvas tells you the price and how it is moving, never whether that price is right.

The screener, explained

The Pro screener ranks roughly 2,000 markets by price, spread, depth, and 5-minute volume, sitting alongside a live trade tape. It is the discovery engine — sort by 5-minute volume and you see what the exchange is trading this instant; sort by spread and you see where the book is thin.

The screener is superb at surfacing candidates. Its blind spot is the same one the whole terminal has: a market ranking at the top of the 5-minute-volume column is busy, not necessarily wrong. To decide whether a mover is an opportunity you need a fair value to compare the price against — which is exactly what the KL-Divergence tool and the Base Rate Scanner do with a screener mover.

Perpetuals & risk controls

Kalshi Pro adds perpetual-futures markets charted with TradingView Advanced Charting. These are leveraged instruments, so Pro ships the risk controls you would expect on a derivatives desk: isolated and cross margin, take-profit and stop-loss orders, reduce-only orders, and slippage guards.

Leverage and margin cut both ways — the same controls that let you size up also let a position run against you faster. Before you take a leveraged perpetual position, it is worth sizing it deliberately rather than by feel: the Kelly calculator turns your edge and the payout into a fraction of bankroll, and fractional Kelly keeps a leveraged book from being one bad print away from a drawdown.

What Kalshi Pro doesn't show you

Every column in Kalshi Pro answers what is moving. None of them answers what is mispriced. Price, spread, depth, 5-minute volume, the tape — that is flow, and flow is only half the job. The other half is fair value: an independent estimate of what a contract is actually worth, so you can measure the gap between it and the Kalshi price and net that gap against spread and fees.

That is the entire PredictionMarketsPicks stack, and it is the edge layer that sits next to the terminal — never a competitor to it. You run Pro to find what is trading; you run these tools to find what is priced wrong. Here is the map:

Combo Edge BuilderFree

Pro's Canvas holds many markets on one screen; this prices a multi-leg same-game position against its true joint probability and returns a SMASH → RUN verdict. The free flagship — start here.

Mispricing ScannerPro

The Pro screener finds movers. This finds wrong prices — a daily Bayesian scan flagging Kalshi contracts trading away from fair value, with Kelly sizing.

Arb ScannerPro

Live price gaps between the same event on Kalshi and Polymarket — the cross-platform edge the single-exchange terminal can't see.

Kelly CalculatorFree

You found the trade in Pro — this says how big. Fractional Kelly sizing from your edge and the contract payout.

KL-Divergence ToolFree

Turn a screener mover into a question: is the move justified, or has the price overshot the information?

Base Rate ScannerFree

The screener says a market jumped. This checks the jump against the historical base rate before you chase it.

Bayes UpdaterFree

A headline drops mid-session on the live tape — update your probability with the new evidence before the book fully reprices.

EV CalculatorFree

The beginner ramp: turn a Kalshi price and your probability estimate into an edge % and a BUY / SELL / SKIP signal.

Probability ConverterFree

Convert Kalshi cents to implied probability and back — the first step of reading any contract on the terminal.

Use Kalshi Pro with AI

The fastest way to close the flow-vs-fair-value gap is to hand your watchlist to an AI assistant that can compute edge. PredictionMarketsPicks runs a free MCP server you can add to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor. Copy the tickers from your Kalshi Pro screener or Canvas, paste them in, and the tools answer with an edge %, a tier, and a position size for every market we model — the human-terminal view turned into an edge read.

Connect the MCP server → It is free to add and its calculators are free to call.

Open your account, then bring the edge layer

Kalshi Pro is free and runs on your existing Kalshi account — one deposit funds trades from the app or the terminal. Open an account, switch into Pro, then run the PredictionMarketsPicks tools next to it for the fair-value read the terminal doesn't compute.

Kalshi Pro — Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kalshi Pro free?

Yes. Kalshi Pro launched as a free public beta on July 13, 2026, and runs on the same account and the same CFTC-regulated exchange as the standard Kalshi app — there is no separate subscription, no separate login, and no separate deposit. Kalshi has said monetization is still undecided, so the Pro terminal, Canvas workspace, screener, and perpetuals are all available at no cost during the beta. You still pay Kalshi's standard trading fees on the positions you take, exactly as you would in the regular app.

What is the difference between Kalshi Pro and the Kalshi app?

The standard Kalshi app is a browse-and-trade interface built for one market at a time. Kalshi Pro is a flow terminal: a drag-and-resize Canvas that holds many markets in one workspace, a screener that ranks roughly 2,000 markets by price, spread, depth, and 5-minute volume, a live trade tape, and perpetual-futures markets with TradingView Advanced Charting. Both use the same account and settle the same contracts — Pro is the power-user cockpit, the app is the everyday view. Pro answers "what is moving right now"; it does not calculate fair value or edge.

Does Kalshi Pro show expected value or edge?

No. Kalshi Pro is a flow terminal — every column answers "what is moving": price, spread, depth, 5-minute volume, the live tape. Nothing in Pro tells you whether a contract is priced above or below its true probability. That is the gap PredictionMarketsPicks fills: its free and Pro tools take a Kalshi price and an independent probability estimate and return an edge %, a verdict, and a Kelly-sized position. Use Pro to find what is trading and PredictionMarketsPicks to find what is mispriced — the terminal and the edge layer next to it.

Can I use Kalshi Pro with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes — that is the workflow PredictionMarketsPicks was built for. Copy the tickers from your Kalshi Pro screener or watchlist and paste them into Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor connected to the PredictionMarketsPicks MCP server. The tools respond with an edge %, tier, and position size for the markets we model — turning the terminal's "what is moving" into "which of these is mispriced." The MCP server is free to add and its calculators are free to call; see /mcp to connect it.

Do I need a separate account for Kalshi Pro?

No. Kalshi Pro is the same account, the same balance, and the same exchange as the standard Kalshi app — you switch into the Pro terminal, you do not sign up again. If you do not have a Kalshi account yet, you create one once and both the app and the Pro terminal are available on it. A single deposit funds trades from either interface.
