PFL brings its first-ever Austin card to the Moody Center on Saturday, July 18 — and for a state that has no legal sportsbooks, the interesting part is that you can still trade every fight. Here's what to watch on the PFL Austin card, and where the Oracles think the number will land once the markets open. New to reading prices as probabilities? Start with our PFL prediction markets guide.

First, the local angle that matters: this card is in Texas — the biggest state in the country with no legal sportsbook — and Kalshi is CFTC-regulated and legal in all 50 states, Texas included. The Moody Center crowd can't walk to a betting window, but they can take a position on Saturday's fights on a regulated exchange. That's the whole hook, and it's arguably stronger than the California version that led our PFL San Diego coverage.

Main event: Johnny Eblen vs. Impa Kasanganay 2 — interim title

This is a rematch, and the first fight is the entire read. Eblen beat Kasanganay by split decision at PFL vs. Bellator in August 2024 — a genuine coin-flip result that two of three judges scored for Eblen. Now they run it back for the interim PFL Middleweight World Championship after champion Costello van Steenis withdrew injured in early June.

A split decision is the market's dream setup: the sample says "even," so the price should say "even." When the contracts list, expect something close to a pick'em — and that's where the read lives. If you think Eblen's championship rounds and top control travel from the first fight, the moneyline may be underrating him; if you think Kasanganay's power and a full camp flip a close one, the underdog side is the value. Drop the live price into our Probability Converter and decide whether your read beats the market's before the vig.

Co-main and the tournament stakes

Sergio Pettis vs. Lewis McGrillen (bantamweight) is the co-feature — Pettis is a former Bellator champion and the most accomplished name on the undercard, the kind of pedigree the market tends to respect early. Watch whether the price overcorrects for reputation against a live opponent.

The tournament layer is real here too: Jesus Pinedo, a top-ranked PFL featherweight, headlines the middle of the card with divisional-bracket implications. A win keeps his Road-to-$1M season alive — the sort of futures spot we track on the PFL World Tournament hub.

The mainstream-curiosity fight

Biaggio Ali Walsh — Muhammad Ali's great-grandson — is on the card, and he's a magnet for casual attention, which usually means a market that moves on name recognition rather than tape. When the crowd prices the jersey instead of the styles, that's exactly where a disciplined read finds a number.

An honest market note

PFL isn't listed on Kalshi or Polymarket yet — UFC dominates combat markets today, and that's the opportunity. We don't fabricate a price: the PFL Austin card page shows the full tale of the tape now — every pairing, division and stake — and each bout flips to a live market-implied win probability the moment its contract opens. Watch the page; it lights up on its own.

Before Austin: PFL's July run starts in Riyadh

PFL's summer doesn't wait for Texas. PFL MENA 10: No Fear, No Mercy runs this Friday, July 10 from Boulevard City in Riyadh, headlined by Hattan Alsaif's professional debut — PFL's first Saudi female fighter — plus the MENA welterweight and featherweight tournament quarterfinals. It's a full slate worth a look: the PFL MENA 10 card has the tale of the tape. From there it's a four-week run: Riyadh July 10 → Austin July 18 → Washington DC July 25 → New York July 31.

How to use this

Don't take a number on faith. When the Austin contracts list, pull the price on both Kalshi and Polymarket, strip the vig, and form your own read on styles and matchup. If your probability beats the market's by enough to clear the fee, there's a position. If not, pass — most of the card, you'll pass.

Every bout, with the live tale of the tape and best market value, is on the PFL Austin card page. For the broader menu, the MMA prediction markets section collects every card and hub in one place.
