The case is volume. Kansas City signed Walker to carry the offense and Week 1 was the proof: 23 carries, 173 yards, the most by a Chief since Jamaal Charles in 2012, a 60-yard touchdown on fourth-and-1 and a shovel pass from the 2 that Andy Reid found in black-and-white footage. Tonight the prop board projects 109 rushing yards and about 37 receiving yards, and its over 89.5 rushing yards sits as a STRONG play at 38.5 cents this morning (41/42 on the live book now). A back projected for 145 scrimmage yards in an offense the market makes a six-point favourite gets goal-line touches, and the contract settles on one touchdown, rushing or receiving. The part nobody else prints: our own model does not publish an anytime-touchdown number. That stat is suppressed on the board on purpose - the calibrated probability is the widest and least reliable on the page - so the 61 cents is not a model edge and this page will not pretend it is. What the model does say is the usage, and the usage is what a touchdown is made of. The market has this game Kansas City by 6 with a 46.5 total on the DraftKings line; our own game read is closer, Kansas City by 2.6, which is a mild argument against a run-out-the-clock script and is stated here rather than left out. Price: 60 bid / 61 ask at publish, last trade 61. The Kalshi fee at 61 cents is about 1.7 cents per contract, charged at the fill, so the break-even on this is roughly 63 percent. Risks, straight: goal-line work going to Mahomes or the passing game, a game script in which Kansas City is throwing, or an injury before he sees the ball.
