How the Novig Peer-to-Peer Exchange Works
- 1Pick a market — Browse game lines, futures and multi-leg contracts across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and college football.
- 2Take a position — Buy Yes or No contracts priced in cents. Price = implied probability. $0.65 Yes = 65% chance the market prices that outcome.
- 3Trade with other users — Your contract is matched with another trader on the opposite side — Novig is the venue, not your counterparty.
- 4Win or close early — If your outcome hits, contracts settle at $1.00. Or sell your position early at any time to lock in a gain or cut a loss.
A CFTC-Designated Contract Market Since August 2026
Novig launched nationwide as a CFTC-designated contract market on August 4, 2026. That retired the old pre-designation product for good: contracts settle in real dollars, deposits and withdrawals are ordinary money movements, and the exchange sits under the same federal designation as Kalshi. It is 21+ by choice, live in most states with a short exclusion list the app confirms at sign-up, and sports-only by design — game lines, futures and multi-leg contracts across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and college football, tradable in-play.
What did not change: the peer-to-peer order book. Your counterparty is another trader, pregame game trades carry no fee, and a winning account is never limited — there is no house to protect.

The $25 lands as five $5 trade credits, usable on contracts priced up to 60¢, and expires 30 days after issue.
