[music] All right. Hello everybody. Welcome to the Seven Oracles live stream. The round table. Jean Clemens up on your top right. Benny Richardy bottom right. Dane Martinez at 7 o'clock. I'm not afino. Wait, that's not Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right. D. Okay. I'm not a defina. I thought you were going to say you didn't know it was right that you're Nando Defino for goodness sakes. No, no, I just, you know, I was in my head doing a clock and I'm like, that is seven. Yeah. All right, we're ready to rock. Thank you all for joining us. Uh, we promise you a good time. We promise you a lot of fun stuff. Um, you know, and stuff and things in between. If you're watching us live, jump in. Uh, hang out in the chat. We'll answer your questions. We got a lot of cool stuff to get to. Let's start with the NFL. Um, I want to go around the horn real quick and like without getting like let's we'll do this in phases, but the first thing I just want from everybody and we'll start with G, we'll just go clockwise again. Gan, what's like the one thing you believe in most this NFL season that you're able to act upon now that these markets are around? Like not the thing you think is going to come to fruition, but maybe even like the thing that's like they'll get a hot start and I'll be able to sell. Like what's the one thing that you're just like on more than anything right now? Player, team, whatever. more more than anything that that I'm on, I think it's athletic quarterbacks, like quarterbacks that are able to change the dynamic with their legs. I I think that there's a a decided advantage that teams with with quarterbacks who legitimately can run have versus those that don't. These defensive linemen are way too fast. These linebackers are way too fast. um like like a guy like Tyler Shuck who people think is actually like a runner like he gets a little bit of yards right he can do a little thing and and it makes a difference but it's a different thing when Jaden Daniels takes off than when like Tyler Shuck takes off right and so those guys who can like legitimately change the math with their feet I'm really on those teams this year because I just think it makes it infinitely more difficult to to try to like hold that offense down. They pick up ghost f first first downs. They they keep the clock moving. They keep keep the chains moving. I think it's it's it's one of those things that people don't talk about enough as a superpower that a quarterback brings to the table. All right, Benny, how about you? And Gene, I got a couple follow-ups tonight. We'll get to in a minute. Benny, how about you? What's like the thing like we've seen the tool, we've seen like the the Madden Sims, the 10,000 Madden Sims, and I read like on the site where you were kind of like h I'm not sure if I actually believe that. I think it was with the Ravens and the Lions. Both had the same amount of win. Anyway, you talk, Betty, but I don't want to put words in your mouth, but there was a there was a cool thing I read on the site sevenoracles.com. The sevenoracles.com about Yeah. So, I I got I got two words that keep popping up in everything I'm running right now, and it's Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jacksonville Jaguars evs on everything. They're coming in better than expected on everything. Players are showing up better on all of the stuff. So, you know, I don't know if the models are just biased to the Jacksonville Jaguars or if there's something about this Jacksonville Jaguars team that we're overlooking or not giving them enough credit for or the way that they're put together just fits with the way the model is, you know, projecting things forward. But every time I look, there's another Jacksonville Jaguar receiver that I'm like, "Ah, he's higher up in the rankings than I thought he would be here. Let me go see." And you know, one of the things about it is I keep going back and trying to figure out why we're so much higher on them than everybody else is. And I'm like, I must have made a mistake here. Nope. Checked everything. It was good. I then this has to be Nope. Everything seems good there. So, you know, that's that actually gives me even more faith in it because when I can't figure out why I'm wrong, then maybe I'm not wrong. You know, I'm I'm a skeptical person by nature. Come on. Have faith in your tools, man. Come on. No, I have a lot of faith. That's what I'm saying is like that's that's actually when you know that hey maybe you found something real here when you can't figure out why when you're like why are we so much higher on this than everybody else and you go back and you check everything and all the math still checks out you know maybe it is but I have an unhealthy amount of overs on wins winning divisions Super Bowl championship everything for the Jacksonville Jaguars this year spitting speeds what's your one thing that you've just embraced yeah what's going on guys um you know first off like shout out to Gene. But, you know, to me, the the dual threat quarterback, I think I agree with him, is a cheat code. And I would go even further. You know, he he drew the line at guys like Tyler Shuck. You know, I actually believe that even quarterbacks that can kind of not are pure threats, but can extend the plays in the pockets. That's like the worst kind of thing when it's third and nine and some guy, you know, you see the pressure and they still kind of pull a rabbit out of their hat to kind of extend these drives deep in the playoffs. That is what's going to happen. So, I like what Gan is saying there. Unfortunately, my team that I'm thinking about is a direct kind of uh, you know, dispute of what Benny is saying. You know, I'm in that same division and in the AFC South, I'm all about the Houston Texans if you want to know the truth. I think the Houston Texans are undervalued in a lot of ways. They have been consistent over the last few years, have been kind of to that divisional round the last three or four years in a row. And quite frankly, I think they've addressed some of the things that have illed them in the last year or so. You know, last year it was the short yardage game. They get David Montgomery to kind of help with that. Last year it was their offensive line. They have addressed that in many ways. They get Tank Dell back, who I think, you know, has a good chemistry with CJ Strad. And if you guys remember in January last year, they went to New England and were competitive in a game against the Patriots when CJ Strad threw like five interceptions, you know. So, I think if you just get literally average quarterback play from CJ Strad, a guy who in his rookie season had one of the best touchdown to interception ratios that we have seen from a rookie entering his second year, was literally the third choice to win the MVP, you know. So, if you get a little bit of a bounceback from CJ Strad, you get health from guys like Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and of course, you know, their secondyear kid, Jaden Higgins at the wide out position, I think David Montgomery actually does what they were hoping guys like Joe Mixon and Nick Chub were able to do as a stable uh, you know, veteran running back. And then one thing you will be able to hang your hat on is a top three defense in the National Football League. A defense that made good quarterbacks look pedestrian even in the playoffs, even when the weather is bad, right? I really like the Houston Texans and specifically maybe even to be, you know, you talked about overs, you talk about division winners. I think even potentially to be the one seed in the AFC because when you look at the AFC West, a lot of people like Denver and the Chargers, maybe a Chiefs rebound. They're going to battle each other. When you look at the AFC North, people like Cincinnati and Baltimore, right? There's going to be a battle there. You see Buffalo and New England potentially in the East. I think the bottom of the AFC South with Tennessee and I think the Indianapolis Colts are bad. So, I think we'll see what happens with Benny's Jags, but I think there is a path for the Houston Texans to be a one seed in the AFC and I think they are kind of underrespected. I threw up the uh the the Cali page for just making the playoffs. Uh and right now you could see like you know Houston's 50/50, Jacksonville's 50/50, Chicago is defaulted on there. I don't have time to to pull it down. Uh Jean, I want to I want to get your opinion on Jacksonville. Um because I find that one like like you know, Benny's super I wouldn't say confused by it, but I think Betty, you know, is is questioning his oracle hood. Uh, Gene, you're like you're a you're you're a football guy. You're a coach, man. You're a scout. Is Benny right? Like, what's going on with Jacksonville? And I'll pull up some more Jacksonville markets while you talk. You know, here's the here's the here's the crazy part about it is because Benny could definitely be right, but also Dane could be right. Like, that's the that's the thing. I think that if you look at that division, it's theirs for the taking. It's those two teams for the taking. Maybe people might look at the Colts, but do you believe in the Colts defense? Like, nah, not really, you know. And so, um, I I think the problem that persists with the Jaguars is that people ju I think people drank the Kool-Aid so much that it affected the way that they ranked the Jaguars. So that when all the numbers got ran, it made the Jaguars look like way better than what they maybe are. And I think that people have seen a a slight regression from CJ Strad. And so because of the slight regression from CJ Strad, everyone's kind of tanked, you know, you know, the Titans, I mean, sorry, not the Titans, but the Texans, not remembering that the Texans can win games regardless of whether the quarterback is good or not. So, like all of these things have a lot of ifs that go with it. What what I think we can be sure of is that both of those teams are going to be good teams this year. And and who ends up at the top of the division is kind of where you're looking to to to to to put your investment in. If you believe in it one way or the other, if you believe in the numbers and the way they're being crunched, you know, by Benny, then now is a good time to invest in the Jaguars. If you believe in what DNE is saying and and and what that that qualitative data that has been put out there for Houston and and the improvements that they've made, now is the time to invest because if it goes from 50% to 75%, cash it out. Perfect example, and I'm going off the rails because of course I'm going off the rails. Last night, I gave you an absolute smash easy over that didn't go over, right? I told you that. I told you that the Arizona Cardinals and the and the Las Vegas Raiders would go over the number. I thought it might even hit 50. I was I was bullish on it. I'm not even going to tell you guys what I played it at. Like, I'm mad. I'm so mad. Right. And um they were in the third quarter. They were in the third quarter and there was already 37 points on the board. The number was the number was 40 was 42 and a half. Mhm. They literally got to 41 points and then started doing some of the goofiest stuff you've ever seen happen. Right. But at 37 points in the third quarter, what was the percentage that they were going to win? If I had cashed out at that point, I would have made money. And you have to remember when you're talking about prediction markets, you don't have to wait till the end. You don't have to wait until they give you the number that they want you to have. You can see what the number is. Go, I'm not risking it. Cash out. Even if I had cashed out at 41 points when when Arizona was was was lining up for a 30 yard field goal chip shot, I would it was probably at 92 93% to go over at that point. I would have made a lot of money and yet I waited. Why? because I believed that they were just going to find another point, another two points somewhere and they never did. They literally just they they did everything goofy. They they missed the field goal. Then they came right back down. The Raiders came right back down, had a chance to score, got it inside the 20, got sacked, then went for it on fourth down instead of kicking a field goal. Then they turned it over. Then Arizona decided to just bleed the clock out for the next four and a half minutes. Jean, that's that's a question for you, right? Because I wonder, is there some lessons learned there for the future? Right? I always love to say we don't just give them a fish, we teach them how to fish. And one of my kind of organizing principles or thesis is here. I don't know if a the plural of thesis is thesi. But I digress. One of the things you said, Jean, is then they just bled out the clock, right? And they did a lot of silly things. Fundamentally, I kind of believe that that happens a lot in preseason games that once you get into late third, fourth quarter, you do get some people bleeding out the clock. You do get teams that almost want to just get out of dodge without any injuries and you get the clock running a lot. You talked about going for it on fourth down instead of kicking the field goal. You know, people may want to see some of those plays instead of the kicking competition. So, I wonder your opinion on is that something that could be a lesson learned either by cashing out on some totals or if you're betting or trading on some of these games live. Well, again, I think the number one thing is don't be afraid to take a profit. You've talked about it, right? You're you're always airing on on the on the conservative, right? Give me a little something. The the the number one thing is never walk away never walk away empty-handed. always take a profit if the profit is there to be taken and you think there may be a chance for foolery. This is what I didn't think about and what I should have cuz I was watching this game. The moment that I realized right that they were not going to play um well that that Arizona wasn't going to wasn't going to play um all of their quarterbacks. I should have known then, right? Like there's something up. They're going to have Br out there, he's going to get a touchdown because they want him to look good. They're going to, you know what I'm saying? When they go, you know, when they go to Menchu, Mchu, they're going to want, they have incentives to be good. And then they went to I forget the quarterback's name because he's irrelevant because he's never going to even be on the he's not even going to be on this roster, right? So, why do why are we incentivized to make sure he looks good? We're not, right? [clears throat] And so, in my brain, I should have been thinking that, right? And okay, I'm looking for a good place to cash out because in the first half when they have 30 when they already have 34 points, I'm like, "Okay, we're good. This is a this is an almost like guarantee." And the arrogance takes over. Sure. And now once the arrogance takes over and and you start to see it not you you're going, "No, this can't happen. This won't happen. They're going to find a way to get two points and they never do." and you go away with zero instead of going away with whatever your profit would have been that you could then invest the next day. Yeah, that's a good lesson learn extrapolate that out as a trend. The tom foolery not having to look good, you know. I think I think it all depends. I think it all depends, Dane. I think it all depends on what what's the goal of the preseason game and and and and I and again I will talk a little bit later about you know my Saturday smash that I really like with the large slate of games but I'll tell you what I'm looking for more in earnest there. So let me let me throw something in here too which is great about prediction markets. one of those little uh teaching moments that we can use here. When you make that same bet on a sports book, right? If you had that over 42 and a half here, maybe maybe you made a $100 bet, right? If you're going to cash out, you're only getting one cash out offer is sell the whole $100 bet for whatever they decide to offer you for it. You know, the thing that's great about the prediction markets here is, let's say you bought 50 shares of this or 100 shares of this or whatever the, you know, probably would have been something like 210 shares of this if you got in at 48 cents before it all started for that same $100. You don't have to sell the whole thing. You could sell that when when it was halftime and it was already at 37 points. You could sell enough shares based on what the price is that you take your initial investment back and maybe you're left with, I don't know, 50, 100 shares depending on what the price was. So your upside isn't as much if they do go over that 42, but you took your $100 off the table. So it's basically like you got a free roll. Now those 50, 60, 70 shares that were left after you sold half of your position to get your money back, you basically paid zero dollars for it. So if what happened last night, no more points get scored and you wind up losing, you basically break even if you sell half of that at halftime. Whereas if they did go on and score 45, 50, 60, however many points they had, you still gave yourself some of that upside that you, you know, you had from the beginning. Now, did you make as much money as you would have if you would have let it ride? No. But, you know, you also limited your downside there. And when you're doing prediction markets, you got to think more like a trader. And with a trader, you know, the idea is protect your protect your nest egg here and try to make it grow little by little. So, take those little wins when you can. So, that's something to think about that you can do on the prediction markets that you can't really do with a sports book bet. Let me throw uh another preseason market out to you in kind of like a roundabout backdoor way. And I got to go to Dane first, but I know this is a gene. This is this is a gene uh I don't know. It's close to your heart. Let me throw this one up. Cleveland's week one starter. And I think this goes into the game that we're going to see today. Like who's going to play? Who's So, right now Deshun Watson has a 79% chance to start in week one. Shader Sanders 26% and poor Dylan Gabriel never got a fair shake 1%. But uh well Dane if you want to comment on this market first of all but also like what are we doing about this game tonight this Cleveland game tonight? What it like what do you expect to see? Is there going to be a lot of Sanders going to be a lot of like how like how is this going to shake out and does that inform the way that you like place some kind of money buy some kind of stock on this game tonight and how you're going to watch it and eb and flow of it all just like what Benny just said. When's the time to to pull out? Yeah, I'm gonna mostly defer to Gan on this one because I know he feels strongly about this one. You know, in my conservative way, I want to just bet the no on Dylan Gabriel and take my 1.01% profit. Take out the mortgage on that, right? Because it would take multiple injuries for put in like honestly, no, no, put in like No, no, not not 100. Put in like $10,000 on that. There you go. I mean, if you're in the market for an extra 150 bucks on 10,000, there you go. I'm not necessarily recommending that. I listen, a long time ago when these numbers were very different, I was on the Deshawn Watson side of this because I thought that there was a universe where in a heads up competition with a healthy Deshawn Watson that he might be able to beat out Shadore. The two things here to me are one, organizationally, I think it makes more sense for them to understand is Shador the guy or not in their long-term plans. that's kind of more pressing for their organization. But then the ripple the the kind of monkey wrench in that is they got a new first year head coach who can't completely defecate the mattress in 2026. So those are to me the kind of tensions and pushes and pulls. And the thing is whoever is the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns I believe actually has a better cast of character and weapons than that team has had in a long time. Right. When you have Fannon, who was one of the top tight ends last year, you've added Casey Conpion and Denzel Boston in the draft, pushing Jerry Judy down to maybe even the third kind of wide receiver, right? They should have more opportunities, more play, more ways to kind of read what the defense gives you and pick the matchup and be of a distributor. And that may play more to Deshaawn Watson and his experience, but ultimately I know Gene feels stronger about this than I do. Yeah. I don't even think it's necessarily like a feel stronger about this cuz if if you really want to get like what I'm what I'm thinking in this thing is like if the Shawn Watson starts great. If Shadir Santis starts great. Right? So like at the end of the if the if Deshaawn Watson starts great because everyone has been essentially defecating on Deshawn Watson. Sure. For for getting injured, right? Like he's been injured. His injuries have have have been a part of why he hasn't performed when he's gone back out there. and he's got all of this off the- field stuff, which by the way, if we start to peel the layers back up, nothing ever really came of like no like the the only people who ever like went and and and and made any actual like like criminal charges against them were thrown out, right? Nah, there's nothing there. So then all we have are these civil are the civil cases which anybody can do with zero to no evidence. They've never gone beyond further this. Someone in somewhere smarter than us probably that makes way more money than us probably told him, "Hey man, throw him some dollars. Get this thing going and be done with it." Even if he's innocent. I've heard people in marketing say, "Hey, that's the name of the game." Sometimes this is just the way it gets done. But they don't have to live with the shame of it. Deshun Watson does. So a lot of what people think about Deshun Watson is just based off the fact they don't like him cuz they think he's a creep. And guess what? They might be right. He might be a creep. But if we're just talking about football and he's healthy and Deshun Watson goes out there and balls out, great for the Browns. Here's what I think is really happening, Benny. And you can tell me if you think I'm if if you think I'm crazy. Wait, but I do still want to go back to what this game actually means and what we could do with it. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, but go ahead. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah. Yeah. Watch this, Benny. You know how I talked about the fact in in my in my um you know, in my in my Sorry, the widgets on your face. It's all good. You know what? Let the live be right [laughter] across the eyes right there. You know, I talked about in my in my in my play of the day, right, that competitions in preeason games usually lead to overs because each quarterback comes in trying to prove something. There's no bigger situation where that's going on than in Cleveland where it's been essentially said, "Hey, this is an open competition." And um Watson's going to get a game to start and Shadur is going to get a game to start. But you know what we've seen from Shadur? He doesn't have to be playing with the ones in order to be per in order to perform well. He can perform well with the twos. We've seen him do it against starters in the NFL. not even what he was doing in preseason games. We've seen him be successful with the twos versus starters in the NFL. So that means that when he comes in after whatever Deshawn Watson does, he's going to come in and be and be productive. And then when Dylan Gabriel cleans it all up in the fourth quarter, guess what he's going to be doing? He's gonna out there trying to show people that he is a viable quarterback to be on their roster because I don't know if they carry all three of these guys into 2026. And so because of that, because of those guys, and then if you look over at at Chicago, right, you've got Williams, but then you still have Tyson Badant there, right? And he's still trying to prove to people that he's a legitimate guy. So all of these quarterbacks getting out there trying to make plays means points, points, points, points because defenses once they get to the second unit, they're bad. It just is what it is. It's it's too expensive to try to keep depth in in the NFL. And that's why most defenses are one deep at at most positions. And they usually have one position that they're deeper at like twos and threes. But like that's why I like the over in this game because I I feel like the Browns will continue to be able to roll because those quarterbacks have something to prove and then Chicago will just follow suit because they've got a couple quarterbacks that want to look good out the gate. Yep. All right. So, we're going with the over. I like And by the way, that's a Saturday game, Nando. That's Saturday. My bad. I said tonight. I I get excited about this. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go one step even further there. I like I I agree with what Jean is saying there. I like the over for the Cleveland Browns because I think the Browns are going to be the team that really has those two guys competing and going back and forth. And then just going back to the numbers on the first chart that you showed as well, Nando. Again, I am the difference between prediction markets and and just regular sports budding that everybody does is, you know, you want to really be conscious of what your entry point is, what number you're getting on whatever you're betting here. So, if I'm betting on the the Cleveland Browns quarterback market right now, I think Shador Sanders is where the money should be going because right now you're paying three times as much for Watson. Even if Watson it I it's probably in Watson's favor right now, but it's not three times more in Watson's favor. Three to one on starting quarterback verse backup quarterback kind of situation is what you would expect when a team has an established this is the guy number one starting quarterback and the other guy's there. And that 20% is basically well hey what if he gets hurt in the preseason or what if something happens or you know whatever. I think this is more of like a 55 45 6040 kind of flip. So if you're telling me that the number on Deshun Watson is 75 and the number on Chador Sanders is 24 26 whatever it was the value right now is on Sanders. So if you're going to get into that quarterback market on either one of them the Sanders side is where to get in now. The time to get in on the Watson side like Dane was talking about was a couple months ago when it was 50/50. Not when it goes to 7525. When it's 7525, if you wanted the Watson side, you missed the trade already. The side to get on now, if you want to be in on one of these two sides, is going to be Sanders. And if you're not in on the Sanders side, nobody told you you had to bet this market at all. You can just let it go. Benny, help me out with this real quick. What you see on the screen right now, um, you know, for a beginner, over 17 and a half first half points scored is 90 cents to buy, right? over 20 and a half is 58, but then over 21.5 is 74 cents. So again, two two big things here. This is a this is a market liquidity issue, right? Uh a little bit, but also two things to remember with football because football's different than you know, a sport like baseball where every run counts for one. You know, football you're scoring in threes and sevens, right? So the the number of scores to get to 21 is actually four, right? You have to have, you know, four scores. And in a half of football, you know, maybe a team is only going to get four to six possessions in that half. So, you're kind of saying, yeah, they're going to score a touchdown every time or that this game is going to be so um, you know, so uptempo that they're going to get, you know, more extra possessions and more extra opportunities to score. I I would probably avoid the 21 and a half because again, football has key numbers that other sports don't have, right? Because you know when every when every basket is worth two or three or when every run in baseball is only worth one or every goal in hockey is worth one, it's not the same as when you're counting scoring chances by threes and sevens in football. So football is unique and there are certain numbers that are unique and 21 being 7* three is one of those unique numbers. So yes, what I'm saying is these numbers. Wait, why is that 50 and 7? That's what I'm saying. Is this just get out of say? All right. So when you're seeing that there, when you're seeing that there, if you tried to get money in on that 74, it's probably just a really thin market. There might be like a dollar available at that 74% and the rest of it is probably, you know, you're probably going to get at a much different number than that. That that would be my guess because that doesn't make any sense. Yeah, it doesn't make any sense, right? Outside of like that and that's like it does if you dig a little deep and you understand the markets and I'm just speaking to maybe people who are like I don't understand like why is this happening? Yeah, it's a markets liquidity availability. You know, the buyer matching with the seller kind of. There's probably a very, very small amount of money on that 74 and it's probably a residual one from something that somebody put in right when this market opened or something like that that just hasn't gotten soaked up yet because there's no liquidity in that market. But that's going to go away fast. And then that number is going to drop. It should be below whatever the 20 and a half is by a couple percentage points because again, it is a key number there around that 21. So that'll probably change once some more money gets into that market. All right, good to know. And just stay away. Obviously, just stay away from it because there's no money in it, right? Well, we're educators, right? That's it. But that's what I'm saying. Like that's the thing you have to like you you look at it. If it doesn't make any sense, it doesn't make any sense for a reason. I mean, listen, if you want to be if you want to be the guy who gets that dollar in and sucks up whatever that dollar of liquidity at 74 is, fine. But after that dollar, it's probably going to drop, you know, probably into the 40s if the one above it is at 50 something, right? So, it should be somewhere. I didn't look at this market, so I can't tell you where I would put it, but it should be less than the 20 and a half market just based on, you know, the way numbers work. Here's another game I want to hit. Spitting speeds. Dolphins Commanders, I think, is is very interesting. I mean like the Commanders to me for like the last three years and I guess since you know since Jaden Daniels his rookie year I wouldn't count it because they were pretty solid but like since it's been it's been a weird team, right? And then like you got the Dolphins who are just like an incredibly new look team. Got a new quarterback like you know basically let all their wide receivers go again preseason. Uh you know we wouldn't look at this as the game was in October but like are you are you feeling anything in this this Dolphins Commanders game? Like should we looking at these two teams more on a futures tip or away from the game? What are you what are you doing with this Dolphins Commanders game that has flip-flopped several times as you can see from the chart? I'm not doing much with this game. I'll say this. I don't know if people agree with me or not, but I think the Miami Dolphins are actually I do not believe in the Miami Dolphins this year. I think the Miami Dolphins are going to be one of the worst teams in all of football. Quite frankly, I actually feel bad for Malik Willis, right? Like he he finally gets a shot, right? He he he finally gets his shot but then literally like 22 Atwell is their number one wide receiver for goodness sake. So like you give him a shot and he gets absolutely no no chance to do anything right. So I would be under all over on their on their futures markets for me with the commanders. The commanders are interesting. If we go back to some of the things that Gan was talking about where I guess the analogy I'm making is like you know how in college football and bowl season, one of the things you almost have to handicap is like teams desire and incentive and do they want to be there and play? I feel like Gene was talking about that a little bit in the preseason here kind of the effort that these guys are going to go. And when I look at Washington, yeah, you got Jaden Daniels. I don't know how much he's going to play, but their backup is a guy that's kind of entrenched and a veteran, right? we don't need to see much out of out of Mariota, I don't believe. Right. So, like when when when when you look at Washington, I don't know that there is much there behind that and where they're going to be into the background in the scrubs kind of early. Um and then remember Larry Tonsel, the their their big kind of uh free agent acquisition in the off seasonason to try to protect Jayen Daniels, he's already down and when you take him away, that offensive line doesn't really look good. So for me, I think in this game, if you want to know the truth, while I think Miami is the poorer roster, to take Jean's point, they may may be the ones that are kind of more hungry to play, hungry to impress with the amount of young kids that they have at the wide receiver position and others. So if you take that logic, I actually think Miami may play better in the preeason, but I like them, you know, I like them literally to be competing for the number one overall pick when it gets to the regular season. Gene, are you feeling this game at all tonight? Are you the same? Just like, uh, let's let's focus more on these futures and not on No, no. I mean, I'm I love, you know, Nando, I love football. I don't Hey, I got a frame. I love preeason football, man. Cuz I think that these people who will come in, they're all playing as hard as they possibly can. And although advantage on a play-to-play basis goes to defense, you just need one or two bust for a touchdown, right? Like I I I'll give you one. Um somebody somewhere yesterday said Drew Aller came in and looked like a first round draft pick yesterday, which I thought was hilarious because if you think about who they were playing against, it's like, yo, what are we talking about here? Right? Like, but that's what happens. You get one big play to one receiver that runs for 65 yards that looks like six a 65 yard pass. Even though it was a screen pass, all of a sudden after the game, people are touting you as the next great, right? If they because a lot of people don't watch these games, they just act like they watch these games. For me, I'm looking at this game with the Commanders. They have a brand new offensive coordinator. So, I would I would say everything that Dne said if they didn't have a brand new offensive coordinator and they needed to get this offense on track because that's what they're going to have to like lean on until some of those younger pieces, those unproven pieces defensively show that they're going to be able to hold up. So, they like Jaden Daniels is back after a year where he dealt with a bunch of, you know, injuries. This is year three for him. He's watched some of his contemporaries take a a year two step after he was the class year one, right? So now he's got to reprove himself. Okay, he's back in there. Let's let's get it. Let's let's get it popping. Then you have Marcus Mariota who needs to get like who needs to make sure he understands this offense if he has to go in. He's going to run a an efficient ship. Both of those guys are guys who can run. Then it gets crazy afterwards, right? Sam Hartman and yeah um um I forget I forget how to pronounce his name but it's a Greek name Nando um I'm Italian I'm not Greek no but I'm saying it's a Greek name and so it's like I don't I don't I forget how to he was at he was at Minnesota then he went to Ruckers um Caliakis or something like that I I don't know um he won't be on the he won't be on the roster when the game when the year starts but all of those guys the one thing they all have in common. They all can run. They all have athleticism. So, I could see a lot of busted plays with them getting up the field. And then you're talking about Miami. How much is the how much are the are the the Washington defense going to play? How much will Malik Willis get a chance to work with these guys? And then what happens when all of the rest of them come in? It's interesting to watch like people battle it out. I think that's what's what's fun for me. I don't know if I'm willing to do any investing on the game, but when it comes to just enjoying it, like I'm definitely enjoying watching these things play out because I do think in week two of preeason, what happened in week one can help you better kind of like shape things for week two where you'll see a lot of teams go, okay, we'll play our guys this week before we shut them down week three and then have a by-week and get ready for the regular season. You guys ready? I'm gonna hit the button. Let's get it, buddy. All right, brother. Dane. So, for the for people who, you know, obviously we had that Survivor show that turned out to be one of our most popular things here at the Seven Oracles outside of the shorts on YouTube. By the way, like and Hold on. Like and subscribe. We got a like and subscribe button in here somewhere, too. Anyway, just do it. I'll find the button later. Um, please please like and subscribe. Like and subscribe. We could use the the subscribers, but uh Dane uh I think like just real quickly like walk us through so big brother's got some famous people, some returnees, some survivor people. Uh like your last video basically told everybody like forget forget everything like alliances have been torn down and broken apart and had a household screwing everything up. Um can you give us like a a 90 second just like set the stage and then tell us where we're at right now? Yeah, absolutely. So you know I think uh two things that are important to note as kind of the context the pretext here right and you mentioned this one Nando is this season has three what they are calling icons okay Angela who was in a previous season of big brother Deans who I know Nando you have come to love who is actually kind of a big personality character from Survivor and then D who I also know you love Nando and she and this is important she won a [clears throat] season of Survivor and is now the current favorite to win this season of Big Brother at 19%. That has gone down. She was in the 20s for a while. And let me tell you something, she is not going to win this season of Big Brother. Literally in yesterday's live episode, you saw two people in the Big Brother house who honestly did not know that the prize for winning Survivor was a million dollar. What do they think it was? When they found out that D has already won a million dollars, they literally reacted like, "Wait, what? She already won a million dollars? They are not going to let her win another prize of $750,000. So to me, these icons, right, D, Angela, and Deans, who who you have, I think is like the third choice there. That is a combined something like 40% and the other one is Angela who's probably a little bit lower but you've got 40% of this market right now that I think is completely toast you know and that creates efficiencies elsewhere. The second thing I'm going to Oh, Dane, sorry Dane, I don't want to interrupt you, but quickly. Uh, because we because we went through this on Survivor, like going no on Audreyy's like the wireto-wire spoiled trading winner. That's like 80%. But like D's no is 83 cents right now. She's not going to win. So that's what I'm saying. Like is that like is 83 cents enough to go no? Like for you? Like is it worth it? Like are we that I mean like 20 bucks? I'm very certain because once again, the other cat housemates are like, "Wait a second, she's already a millionaire." No, I'm not going to. But the thing is, to Benny's point, the time is not now. Her percentages were up in the mid to high 20s earlier in this season. Um, so sure, if you want to do that for marginal gain, but I would have done that earlier. The fact that she's been this leading kind of favorite, her and Deans, is silly to me. I think that's just like public sentiment kind of brand name value. And no, I don't think they're gonna win. All right. Now, the the second thing though I did want to say is we're at a pivotal time right now. The dominant alliance earlier on in this season was something called the tool shed. And literally that has been broken up in the last week. So this is where kind of people are trying to find their new alliances. People are trying to find their new homes and the power has certainly shifted. It used to be these folks D, Deans, Angela that are in power along with people like um Barrett and Drew and the power dynamic is now completely shifting. So I believe that there is value on a few people in single digits like Taylor at 7% for example, Yash at 7% for example, right? Um, Kamu is interesting, the second choice at 16%, but I think he is enjoying kind of like right now a recent spike. So, if you like um Kamu, which may be true to Benny's point, it's all about timing. There will be another time where you can get Kamu at a better number. Okay. I think what you need to do is find the people at 7%, the Taylor, um, Yash and others. I I like Lala for example who is very well-liked and these people who are not seen as the leaders of groups that are kind of floating through right now. The other folks also who are kind of coming together are Drew Barrett, Melody and Melanie Mallerie, excuse me. But the four of them are a kind of hard group of four. And the thing is they don't have enough numbers because they are not necessarily well-liked. especially Melody and Mallerie who were seen as like competition kind of beasts or disliked. So, I'm throwing them out as well. And we are in a pivotal time, that's what I'll say here, Nando, where the power alliances are shaking. And I think it's going to be people that are flying under the radar right now like Taylor and Yash at 7% that are really good odds. Kamu has a nice chance as well, but he's had that recent spike and I would just look to get a better number. The moral of the story here is for the traders, two things. One, D, Deans, Angela, they are not winning this season. And they're combined 40% yes, I think creates really unforeseen value in other places. There are better candidates at lower numbers right now. Nando, hey, like I think you're the only one here who's watching the show. Uh, we put a lot on you, right? Like I I just can't like it's dude I remember like when I was at CBS this is like going back 12 years 13 years people were watching like it was such a big show people were watching the feeds and like they were talking like and then you you check the message boards you know three or four years later as it evolved you check the message boards like you check Reddit and people were just like writing about stuff they saw on the feeds that wouldn't even come close to showing up on air and it's like you really have to like survivors once a week there's been alliances that have formed that are not on the show one called the honor society which is Angela D, Lala and Taylor. And that's part of why I like Lala and Taylor because they've brought in D and Angela. But D and Angela are shields for them. You know, will be the big targets. And these people, specifically Taylor, Yash, and Lala, have ways to kind of skirt on through, never be seen as main player threats, and are starting to get a little bit more in power, especially now since the recent episodes are really starting to break apart the tool shed and start to target some of these quote unquote icons that are out there. I think that is going to continue to happen. you're going to continue to see D. Deans and Angela drop and kind of new blood will rise to power. So the time to get the new blood and I'm identifying that specifically as Taylor and Yash is now. But to your point, Nando, if you want to fade D, the time was probably last week. But sure, you could still do it because she ain't winning. They know she's already a millionaire. They're not going to hand her another threequarters of a million dollars. Dane, what's your what's your $20 portfolio right now? Is it is it Yash like 10 on Yash and 10 on Taylor or like right now? Yeah, right now. Five Yash, five LA. Yeah, right now if I had to do it with $20, it would definitely be getting some of Taylor and Yash, right? And then I would be looking to hold some to get a better number on Kamu. Okay. Um, and then the other guys are Barrett and Drew are interesting, but I ultimately don't think they're going to go all the way because um, they're kind of being seen as obviously playing both sides, right? And that eventually will ruin their game. Are you worried that there's going to be some weird twist that's going to shake all this advice you just gave up? Like Survivor was spoiled and insiders were putting stuff and it wasn't live. like this is like expect the unexpected and Julie Chen like reveals like you know two people come back or something like that like is that I mean it's always in play a little bit but not a ton for you. That's possible, but that's still part of my working narrative here, right? Where still eventually the um the feelings will go against these icons and then people like for example um Haley who was still around uh Melody who was still is still around people they are very not liked in the house because of kind of the drama that happened. So that's not going to shake apart. That's why these under the radar people I still feel good about. What I also feel good about though, Nand though, is our damn Bitcoin tool. Oh, hold on. I was about to hit the button. Our Bitcoin edge tool. And one thing I know that Benny and Jean have told me is wait until you get closer and closer to the top of the hour because that is when the information and the edge absolutely kind of hardens for us. Jean, help me. What do I do right now? Is there anything high value? Because I know after 45 now is the time. Yeah, I I mean obviously you you should you you want to keep an eye on it, right? You want to keep an eye on on what's going on at the at the Bitcoin edge to make sure that you're always, you know, in the in the proper, you know, in the proper area for it. But but right now, I mean, if you're if you're looking at it, the the the watch is on no for um 62 um,841. There's, you know, I'm I'm looking at I'm looking at at these things and I'm just like, if you're if you're if you're keeping if you're keeping tabs on it, wherever you see that no at watch the watch the meter and and if you could bring it up um Nando, if you want you want the Bitcoin page. Yeah, bring up Bitcoin. Copy this. Hold on. I got to switch my share screen. Low confidence. This is going to take a second. Share screen. Go back to low confidence. I think guys on it. Paste this. Open this up. There we go, folks. Gotcha. Now you see how how there you can you don't really get to see you know um like the the the real time movement but if you go in to the Bitcoin 15 minutes am I am I saying that right Benny Absolutely. Yep. Yeah. Go into go into the Bitcoin just just go up to the to crypto um Nando go to crypto and then go to Bitcoin 15 minute or the look on the left hand left hand got you got you right right okay yeah if you you see that that thing is moving in real time look at how it moves it's just trying to spike it up yeah and so using this to help inform How you do the hour will help you be able to read the es and flows of the market and know when it's time to put your money on something and when it's time to get your money out. Like right now it's pretty steady. But if you'll notice if it if you start seeing it do that that that that that arrow and it just starts to climb up like that. Those types of jumps normally inform something like, hey, this is moving this way. So, so right now, if I'm looking at it and it's 62 836 and climbing, right, I might look to see what 63 is paying on right now or or 63 is only 2% to go over. So, I'm looking to get a little something in at that 2%. Because about 629 at 10%. 629 at 10% I'm putting it in. I want to be all the little I want little ratchets that go up from there and then I use the Bitcoin edge tool to to guide me and just tell me if if if they think I'm on the right track. Right. What it's there for. Can I get it over 629? So, I I play these a little bit differently, but with a very similar situation to what um Jean's talking about here. So, I usually try to get some money in directionally based on what the Bitcoin tool is telling me for what are we in like 3:00 hour right now. So, I think at the beginning, like right when we got on air, I put something in um to be down at 6,300, down at 629, and down at 628. So, I've already I'm already in the money on the 63. I'm in the money on the 629. The 628 is the one that I'm looking at now. And what I do with the 15 minute, Jean's exactly right. This is the place to watch what the direction everything's going in. But once you get into that last 15 minutes, right? That that 45 minutes after the hour, right up until the 3:00 hour, you know, you basically have the same market in the 15minute that you had in the the 1 hour at the beginning at 2:00 or 2:15 or 2:30 when you get your money in there. So, I used the 15minute Bitcoin market here to kind of hedge the positions that I had. I'm already in the money on all those. So the worst thing that could possibly happen to me on my no bets at 63 and 629 would be if this thing spikes up. So what I'd be doing right now is kind of just saying, okay, well maybe if I can get in even if I only buy like right now it's seven cents on the up, right? I might buy a couple shares of up right now just to hedge in case something crazy happens to you know those no bets. Spike Nando go up. You just moved it at the worst time. It was going down. The worst. [laughter] I am. [clears throat] But yeah, that's that's the idea is you want to you want to try He was talking about prices. Yeah, you want to try to see if you're if you already have money in where hey, if it goes over 6,300 or if it goes over 629 or under that number, I win $50 or $100 or whatever, you want to try to hit the other side of that so that you can kind of catch that middle if you can. So, we'll see. We'll see what happens. That price is right game, right? The Yodeler going up the mountain. Like that's what you were talking about right now. Like this thing is climbing and it's climbing late and it happens. It's really weird how it always happens towards the end of the hour. Like traders are trying to, you know, get more Bitcoin, get out of Bitcoin, blah blah blah blah blah. And this it it'll have a massive jump or or fall at at a certain time. Again, there's no guarantees, but I want you to think about this. If you were playing and you got in when it was at like 62, like low 628s and you got up to high 628, you might be able to sell it right there and you've made three times your money. Like it just all depends on how these things are moving. So, you've got to either be in it for a for the long term of it, meaning for the entire hour like Benny's talking about it, or you're literally looking at trading these things every five minutes like I'm like I'm in it trying to do, trying to catch a little bit here, a little bit there. You know what? Uh, a $100 here might net me a $30 profit. That is a lot of money ladies and gentlemen if you're thinking about it on a grand scale not just on a small scale that's a lot of money if I can get 30% [clears throat] on my on my 100 in 15 minutes right so like just thinking of it in that in that manner will help you to better understand how to like how to move but right now the Bitcoin edge tool doesn't like any of this stuff like and that's the point where you go might be time to put it down and just sit and chill and and walk away because the Bitcoin Edge tool right now is low confidence on everything and it's telling you to pass. Yeah, seeing pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass and when it says low confidence it doesn't it it doesn't mean that it's like you know basically what it means when it says low confidence is that it thinks the market is priced the right way right like it's not saying I think it's going to go up or I think it's going to go down what it's basically saying is based on where the options prices are for everything here this is about the number it's supposed to be at right and and that's the thing so it's basically telling you that there's no value like you know again at 5% or at 5 cents that still means there's is a one in20 chance that something's going to happen. And it's saying we think that's about right. Like we think it's about a one in 20 chance that this thing does spike up and go upwards. But 95% of the time or 19 out of 20 times that we've seen this setup before, it's most likely to go down and you're not winning any money by betting or putting money on either side of it. Yeah. Here we go. Just but but a but an extremely fun addictive tool, especially when you start getting those greens. when things start hitting green and start flashing green, your eyes started to see green and you started to see that money. Well, the other you're I was gonna say you're a silver guy, man. Like is is does the silver one behave this way, too? The silver and the gold ones that you built? No, not necessarily. And it really just comes down to it comes down to two things, right? It comes down to the liquidity in the market. Like there's just not as many there's not as much trading going on in the silver and gold market. So it doesn't move as fast and it doesn't have the the head fakes up and down like the Bitcoin one does. And then the other thing too is that Bitcoin, you know, Bitcoin is an asset that is a lot tougher to price. Like gold and silver have been around for literally tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of years. I don't know. Somebody with science will probably yell at me for that, but you know, it's been around for a really long time. Bitcoin is something new. A lot of people don't know how to price it. A lot of people don't believe that the price is really, you know, grounded in anything. So you see a lot bigger swings. There's a lot more volatility in the Bitcoin market. So theoretically, all of the mark the silver edge, the gold edge, the oil edge, the Bitcoin edge, they're all built on the same uh you know, the same principles. But the Bitcoin edge is the one that's the most fun because again, it's you know, you're getting a lot more of the a lot more of the swings, a lot more of the up and down, and there's also just a lot more money in the market. So, you're getting filled a lot closer to the prices that you should be getting filled at without having to pay, you know, a a bigger juice between the, you know, the bid and the ask on something like this. We're going to take it to the top of the hour and then we're going to let everybody go enjoy their weekends. We got about three minutes left. Uh, the Bitcoin Edge tool is still saying, uh, pass pass all over the place. We could just have fun watching this thing go up and down. I'm just at it right now. Here's the tool here. I'm blocking Benny's face, but I want everybody to have Let me let me let me throw a couple things in here for everybody as well. I can't move this anywhere. You know, one of the things you got to really pay attention to if you're going to be playing in the Bitcoin markets, like again, we're looking at the 15minute market here and the 1 hour market here, but you want to know the longer term trend, too. Like, has Bitcoin been going up or been in an up market the last couple days? Has it been in a down market the last couple days? One of the things and one of the reasons people are going to be like, "Oh, why isn't the Bitcoin edge showing us any edges right now?" So the Bitcoin edge, when Bitcoin is in a down market, it's probably going to show you more nos and down type edges. When Bitcoin as a whole is kind of going up and to the right on the chart, it's going to show you more, you know, yeses and more strong buys. when Bitcoin is also going up in that hour when the two of those things are fighting that's why we haven't seen a lot because you know when Bitcoin the trend of Bitcoin is back towards the upside and you know the daily trend for it or the hourly trend for it is towards the downside those two things are kind of counter to each other. So basically our machine is going to be telling you that we don't have any high convictions on them because the trends are counter to each other and at any point there could be a reversal in one one direction or the other. One of the things that goes along with the high convictions is also when the conviction that we have is following along with the prevailing trend that's out there. So with the prevailing trend recently has been down, if we also think this is going to go down, then that's usually when you'll see a high conviction thing. If it's going up, which it kind of is a little bit now from the 628 that it was at, you're not going to get any high convictions because you're kind of fighting the longer term trend even if the shorter term trend is make some money by going up from that point. All right, here we go. 30 seconds to tell people is the kind of stuff you get over at the Seven Oracles. Benny has amazing tools, whether it's Bitcoin, whether it's the NFL season. Come on and join us. We're fun, too. Yeah. And next week, next week, Nando, we're going to we're going to show him the the the parlay. We You know what? We're going to show him the combo builder next week, Benny. We We'll give him a little something Give him a little something to to to chew on. We were playing We were We were working on this thing, troubleshooting it during the World Cup. I'm not saying it was out here printing money. Not saying that. I'm just saying that we were winning money. That's all I'm saying. I'm saying we weren't getting that money. Anyway, I I think it's really important. I want to leave the I want to leave the people with this with this play on Saturday. The New York Giants. The New York Giants. Just in case you didn't know, they're going to play a game against the Minnesota Vikings. You know, we just found out about Minnesota. We just found out that they benched their first their first round draft pick quarterback. Yeah. After only two years, one of which he played. and they did it for Kyler Murray. Listen, I'm not saying that it's still a competition. I'm saying that one of those two people still thinks it's a competition. And that means you're going to get Kyler Murray playing that he he has to look good. Why? Because Minnesota has to justify giving up on the first round draft pick after only one season of play for this guy, right? And so they're going to are incentivized to make him look good. JJ McCarthy is going to come off the bench. He's going to be incentivized to play well. Then you're going to get Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz is incentivized to play well because he wants to be QB number two either on the Vikings or another team that needs a veteran guy throughout the league. All three of those guys are going to want to play well. There's there's there's there's wonder if Jackson Dart is going to play. Let let me let you in on a little secret. Jackson Dart's going to play. And if he doesn't play, the gift that keeps on giving will be out there for an extended amount of time cuz he just Brandon Allen. Jameus Winston is back and it is going to be Winston left and Winston right. He's either going to put up a lot of touchdowns or he's going to give up touchdowns. And a lot of times he does both. I'm telling you ladies and gentlemen, the over in this game 42 and a half is trading at at 49%. But if you want to get froggy, the 44 and a half is trading at 39%. I think that this game touches or gets close to touching 50 because the defenses are going to come out. They're going to be flying around, but they're not going to play long because they can't afford to go and not have those dudes there. And when they do, when they bring those twos and threes in, there's going to be bust all over the place because I like I've said, the the the second and third teams on these on these NFL teams are extremely porous. And the Giants are dealing with a lot of quarterback injuries, so they're not even going to be out there with all their best weapons. This is one you're going to want to get in on because this thing is going OVA over. On that note, we got to run. Benny Richardy got a head start. Jean Clemens, [laughter] spin Jean Clemens, spinning speed Martinez. There we go. I'm Nino. The sevenoracles.com. Help us help you. Bye.
