How this settles
Resolves YES if the 60-second simple average of CF Benchmarks' BRTI ending just before the settlement time is greater than or equal to the 60-second simple average of CF Benchmarks' BRTI ending just before 15 minutes earlier, on the contract's settlement date.
- BRTI 60-second average, not spot price — Resolution uses the simple average of exactly sixty individual BRTI seconds, not any instantaneous or candlestick price, so a momentary spike or dip at the window boundary is irrelevant.
- Inclusive comparison: equal resolves YES — The rule says 'at least,' so if both 60-second averages are identical the contract resolves YES, not NO — a tie favours the long side.
- 15-minute cadence: two specific 60-second windows matter — Each contract in this series compares the window just before one timestamp to the window just before a timestamp 15 minutes earlier; traders must confirm exactly which pair of timestamps applies to their contract, as every 15-minute interval spawns a separate contract.
- CF Benchmarks BRTI is the sole source — Any discrepancy between BRTI and other BTC indices (e.g. CME CF BRR, exchange spot prices) is irrelevant — only CF Benchmarks' real-time index governs resolution.
These are the rules for the whole series — every contract in it settles the same way. Full KXBTC15M settlement rules →
