Three weeks out from the 2026 NFL season, the roundtable spent this episode on the
one question that actually costs you money in August: not who the sleepers are,
but what to do with them once everybody agrees they're sleepers.
That distinction is the whole episode. A player everyone calls a sleeper is, by
definition, no longer priced like one — and the gap between where a name goes in
a draft and where the market prices the same outcome is the only part you can
trade.

Draft price is not market price
The sleeper conversation starts at 8:00 and it is the most useful stretch of the
episode, because it separates two things that get collapsed constantly.
Draft price is where a player comes off the board in a fantasy draft — an ADP,
set by thousands of drafters, and it moves slowly. Market price is what a
contract on that player's team, win total, or award costs right now, and it
re-prices in hours on news. When those two disagree, one of them is wrong, and
the roundtable's job is working out which.
That is the same machinery behind our own board: the
draft assistant ranks players against consensus ADP and reports the gap
rather than the ranking, because the gap is the part you can act on. The
NFL hub does the same thing at team level against the Kalshi board.
