Five NFL Week 8 player props reached PLAY on our board. Four were graded and went 2–2, the fifth was voided, and the week finished −30¢ before Kalshi taker fees and −38¢ after. All four graded results match Kalshi's own settlement, one contract each.
The Week 8 card
| Game | The play | Cost | Actual | Result | Net before fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CAR @ GB | Tommy Tremble 3+ receptions NO | 60.5¢ | 1 catch | Win | +40¢ |
| IND @ JAX | Parker Washington 5+ receptions NO | 46.5¢ | 1 catch | Win | +54¢ |
| MIN @ DET | Jared Goff 2+ pass TDs YES | 53.5¢ | 1 TD | Loss | −54¢ |
| IND @ JAX | Josh Cameron 2+ receptions YES | 69.5¢ | 0 catches | Loss | −70¢ |
| IND @ JAX | Jonathan Taylor 25+ receiving yards NO | 65¢ | 24 yards | Void | 0¢ |
Net figures round to the whole cent, as the ledger stores them.
Both unders landed on low target counts
Tremble caught 1 of 3 targets for 19 yards in Carolina's 27–19 loss at Green Bay. Washington had 1 catch on 2 targets for 16 yards in Jacksonville's 42–7 win.
Goff finished one touchdown short
Detroit beat Minnesota 19–15 and Goff threw 25 passes for 176 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Our projection was 2.03 touchdowns against the 2+ threshold.
Cameron is the entry price to look at
Cameron finished with 0 catches on 1 target. The ledger carries his entry at 69.5¢, captured Friday. By Sunday's last run before kickoff, Kalshi had the same contract at 47.5¢, and it closed at 46.5¢. That move cost 23¢ of closing line value on top of the loss. The record grades the entry it captured, so this one counts as −70¢.
Why Taylor is a void and not a win
Taylor had 24 receiving yards, one short of the strike, and Kalshi settled the contract NO. It still doesn't count. The row reached PLAY on Friday and then came off the board as priced away, so it wasn't a position at kickoff. Rows like that close as a void with no profit or loss, whichever way they settle.
The record through Week 8
| Week | Record | Net before fees | Taker fees | Net after fees | Per contract (after fees) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 113–98, 5 void | −7¢ | −419¢ | −426¢ | −2.0¢ |
| 2 | 51–65 | −1029¢ | −232¢ | −1261¢ | −10.9¢ |
| 3 | 13–6 | +257¢ | −38¢ | +219¢ | +11.5¢ |
| 4 | 5–0, 5 void | +197¢ | −10¢ | +187¢ | +37.4¢ |
| 5 | 13–6 | +249¢ | −38¢ | +211¢ | +11.1¢ |
| 6 | 2–1 | +35¢ | −6¢ | +29¢ | +9.7¢ |
| 7 | 1–1 | +2¢ | −4¢ | −2¢ | −1.0¢ |
| 8 | 2–2, 1 void | −30¢ | −8¢ | −38¢ | −9.5¢ |
| Season | 200–179, 11 void | −326¢ | −755¢ | −1081¢ | −2.9¢ |
Two things are true at once. The season is down 1081¢ after fees, and all of that comes from Weeks 1 and 2, which account for −1687¢ across 327 graded contracts. Since Week 3, PLAY props are 36–16 with 6 voids, +606¢ after fees. That's 52 graded contracts, so read it as a small sample.
How it is counted: every PLAY row the grader settled, one contract each, less the Kalshi taker fee at that price. A void pays no fee. A prop that stayed PLAY through a re-price can appear on more than one run, and each run counts.
WATCH rows are graded separately and aren't in this record. Week 8 WATCH rows went 157–137 with 28 voids, −100¢ before fees.
Week 9 prices are on the full prop board, and every game is on the Week 9 hub. Week 8's games are on the Week 8 hub. Run any strike through the Kalshi fee calculator before you take a position.
