November 2, 2026 · 3:03 · The 7 Oracles
What’s in this video
The video examines the South Carolina Senate race between Republican Darlene Graham and Democrat Dr. Annie Andrews, noting that Graham's market position has slipped from 89% to 76% over the past two months. The host points to new polls showing Andrews within one or two points, margin-of-error territory, and highlights high-profile endorsements from former governors Jim Hodges and David Beasley boosting her momentum. The discussion frames this as a race where trader sentiment is shifting faster than some expected, suggesting possible trading opportunities beyond the core winner market.
Key points
- Darlene Graham's market position fell from 89% to 76% over the last two months as Annie Andrews gained ground.
- New polls show Andrews within one or two points of Graham, inside the margin of error.
- Graham only won her nomination runoff with 52% of the vote against Ralph Norman, who has declined to campaign with her despite saying he'd support her.
- Andrews received endorsements from both Democratic former governor Jim Hodges and Republican former governor David Beasley.
- The host points to the site's markets-versus-pundits tool as a way to compare trader pricing with polling and forecaster views.
- Because the race looks less like a runaway than initially expected, the host suggests margin-of-victory markets could offer additional trading angles.

And there's an interesting one shaping up in South Carolina where Darlene Graham, the Republican, who is the sister of, you know, uh, Lindsey Graham, who passed on a few months ago, is in an interesting battle against Dr. Annie Andrews, the Democrat. Okay, now Darlene Graham was at 89% in the markets about 2 months ago, but she has fallen. Andrews is coming up, and now Darlene Graham is down to 76%. There are new polls out there that actually have Andrews pulling within one or two points within the margin of error. Here's part of the thing. Um, Darlene Graham narrowly won the nomination. It was a contested kind of runoff against a popular conservative rep representative named Ralph Norman. Graham only had 52% of the vote and Norman is not really kind of down with Graham. Said that he would vote for her, but he refuses to campaign with her, which is interesting. Now, Andrew's kind of candidacy is really gaining steam. You could see it by the trend line in the trades. You could see it in some of the last polls as well. And she has gotten some highprofile endorsements. Get this. She got endorsements from rival former South Carolina governors. The Democrat Jim Hodes and also the former Republican governor David Beasley gave her their endorsement. So, this race is moving. There is kind of many people anticipating a blue wave on the horizon and this one is one to watch. The trend lines are dramatically going in Annie Andrews favor. Now, while she may not get all the way over the top, you could also consider maybe trading this one in the margin of victory markets that are out there in the trading markets because this is not going to be a runaway like some people expected when Darlene Graham got the kind of appointment after the passing of her brother.
