Why there is no Survivor 51 market
Editorial · by Nando Di Fino, The 7 Oracles
Survivor 51 premiered on CBS on Sept. 23, 2026, and neither Kalshi nor Polymarket has listed a winner market. That is not an oversight. Last season's market was the most lopsided reality-TV board we have tracked: Kalshi opened “Who will win Survivor Season 50?” on Jan. 11, six weeks before the Feb. 25 premiere, and Aubry Bracco sat at 70% or better almost from day one and at 80% to 90% through February and March. The market traded about $33.3 million. She won.
A fair market on a jury-vote competition does not look like that. A hunch does not hold one name above 80% for three months; information does. Survivor is taped months before it airs, so by the first episode the votes were already sealed and the season had passed through producers, editors, network staff and the cast. After the finale, host Jeff Probst told Variety that anyone on the show found trading on the outcome would be fired, and industry newsletter Event Horizon called on the exchanges to stop listing the show. Four months later, they have.
The dividing line for a reality-TV market is simple: was the outcome decided before the episode aired? Big Brother evictions and its finale vote happen live. Dancing With the Stars is scored and voted during the broadcast. Nobody on the production side knows those answers early, which is why their charts move like competitions and Survivor 50's did not. A Survivor market could come back if it ran on something that happens live — a live challenge, a live reunion vote — and this page will price it the day one lists.
Until then the reality-TV money has gone to the live shows. The full piece, with the Survivor 50 chart and the Dancing With the Stars longshots The 7 Oracles are holding: Is there a Survivor 51 market on Kalshi or Polymarket?

Reading a reality-TV board
A winner board pays $1 to one name, so the prices should add up to about 100¢; the gap above that is the cost of trading every name at once. Convert any quote with the Probability Converter, check the break-even with the EV calculator, and size a longshot with Kelly — a 1¢ contract is a lottery ticket, not a position to build a bankroll around.

Survivor odds — frequently asked
Is there a Kalshi market for Survivor 51?
Not as of Oct 21, 2026, 11:24 PM ET. Kalshi's Survivor series (KXSURVIVOR) has no open event, and Polymarket has no Survivor 51 winner market either. This page re-checks Kalshi every few minutes and switches to the live board the day a Survivor 51 market lists.
Who is favored to win Survivor 51?
There is no market price to say — no exchange lists Survivor 51. Any "Survivor 51 winner odds" published elsewhere are editorial picks, not prices you can take a position in. The 7 Oracles' read (editorial, not a market): the season is taped months before it airs, which is exactly why the exchanges have stayed away.
Did Kalshi list Survivor 50?
Yes. Kalshi's "Who will win Survivor Season 50?" market (KXSURVIVOR-26DEC31) opened Jan. 11, 2026, about six weeks before the Feb. 25 premiere, and traded about $33.3 million. After the Survivor 50 finale, host Jeff Probst criticized the exchanges, and no Survivor 51 market has opened.
