What’s in this video
Dane Martinez looks at the prediction market for who plays the next James Bond and argues Aaron Taylor-Johnson at 22 cents is undervalued. He notes Callum Turner is the favorite at 49%, but points to Taylor-Johnson's 2022 screen test with producer Barbara Broccoli and his prior action roles as reasons the market may be mispriced.
Key points
- Callum Turner is the current favorite in the James Bond market at 49%.
- Aaron Taylor-Johnson sits in third place at 22 cents, which Martinez frames as roughly 3.8 times return if he wins.
- Martinez cites a 2022 screen test with longtime Bond producer Barbara Broccoli that reportedly went very well.
- Outlets like Games Radar, Town and Country, The Sun, and Daily Mail have called Taylor-Johnson a frontrunner for the role.
- His past roles in Kick-Ass, Tenet, and Bullet Train are cited as evidence he can handle a complex character like Bond.
- Martinez suggests Turner may fit a rebooted, fresher take on Bond, while Taylor-Johnson is seen as more 'Bond ready' now.

My profitable [music] prophecy this week is about the new James Bond. Who will be the new 007 [music] from the James Bond movie that is being put out by Amazon? It looks like it's going to come out in about 2027, maybe early 2028, but they are going to start filming. And right now the third choice in this market that [music] has about $600,000 in it is Aaron Taylor Johnson. He is at [music] 22% and I say there is a good chance for him to be the next Bond James Bond. So at 3.8 times your money I say invest in Aaron Taylor [music] Johnson at 22%. Here's why. He did a formal audition, like a screen test [music] back in 2022 with all of the kind of producers, including longtime James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, and they all said they [music] absolutely loved him. They said he did a great job in that screen test. And there are some outlets that even reported that, you know, it was his job if [music] he wanted it. Literally, uh, Games Radar and Town and Country said Bond is Aaron's [music] job if he wanted it. The Sun, the Daily Mail over there in the UK also called him a [music] frontr runner. Also said he was the leading candidate. And here's the other thing, his recent credits kind of show that he could be a James Bond. I mean, he was a character Dave in Kickass, which was like a [music] normal awkward teenager that evolved into a superhero. There was his role in Tenant [music] where he played Ives who is literally like a military operative that is a fit and trans, [music] you know, kind of transferable for James Bond. And then in Bullet Train, he was Tangerine. [music] He was part of like a literally a hitman duo, right? So, and he was a British assassin. This all fits together kind of showing that he can be different versions [music] of the kind of complex character that is James Bond. Here's the [music] other thing. I think more people actually believe that he is more like Bond ready right now, whereas the favorite in this market, Callum Turner, may be better for kind of like a reboot of James Bond and like a fresh start of the character. It [music] is in fact Turner who is the favorite at 49% but I think the value is on Aaron [music] Taylor Johnson. The value is on Aaron Taylor Johnson. It's only 22%. You can get [music] almost four times your money. And honestly, he did the early screen test. It's not like there are open auditions for James Bond. So they already [music] like him. It was already previously pre-reported. And with this Amazon film and kind of keeping it close to the vest is [music] kind of in line with that. So maybe the screen test happened a few years ago. Maybe it is known and it just hasn't gone public yet. Aaron Taylor Johnson has [music] value to be the next Bond James Bond. Well, the Oracle has spoken. Go and get it [music] now before the number moves before more and more news comes out about you know the production and the starting of filming which is set to happen a little bit later on this year. And remember, for all of your prediction markets [music] needs, go to the seven the number sevenoracles.com, get the free newsletter, sign up to be have access to all of our tools, and join the Illuminati so we can see into the future.
