What’s in this video
The hosts review NBA prediction market plays for tonight's slate, highlighting the Hawks-Magic total, a Tyrese Haliburton points-plus-assists prop against New Orleans, and a Luka Dončić scoring prop against Golden State. They explain how pace, scoring averages, and foul trends support the Hawks-Magic over, then point to the Seven Oracles NBA hub tools for tracking injury news and who benefits from a player being out.
Key points
- Hawks vs. Magic over 235.5 points is discussed, citing both teams' high scoring averages and weaker defenses from last season as support for the over.
- The hosts note the total was trading around 47-49% across Kalshi, Polymarket, and Novig, and suggest getting in before the line potentially moves up during the game.
- They explain that aggressive drives to the basket lead to fouls, foul trouble, and open three-point looks, which can push scoring higher, and suggest watching foul counts in the first six minutes of the Hawks-Magic game.
- Tyrese Haliburton's points-plus-assists prop against New Orleans is highlighted, with the hosts citing New Orleans' struggles on defense.
- Luka Dončić's scoring prop against Golden State is highlighted, with the hosts noting his improved health and increased role as the primary option without LeBron James.
- The Seven Oracles NBA hub is described as a tool for tracking injury reports and projecting which players benefit in usage, shots, rebounds, and assists depending on whether a questionable player plays, using Austin Reeves as an example if Luka Dončić were out.

cuz I have a player today. What you got? Is back. What you got? I've got a player today. The the the the Atlanta Hawks versus the Orlando Magic to go over 235 and a half points in today tonight's matchup. Now, some of you might be saying to yourselves like, "Man, 235 and a half points, that's a lot." Well, first off, both of these teams are are in the top 15 when it comes to scoring from last year, right? Um I believe Atlanta was at um somewhere around 117. I think the um um the Magic were like at 115 or something. So, you're already talking about two teams that know how to put the ball in the cup, but also you're talking about two teams that gave up over 110 points a game last year. So, not only do they know how to put the ball in the cup, but they don't do the greatest job of keeping it out. Here's where I think the edge is for people to look at, right? 235 and a half points is trading at 48% on Koshi, 49% on Poly Market, 47% on Novig, I believe. Is that Is that what it says down there? Can you can you check that out for the for the total? because my eyes aren't as good as as it used to be for 235 and a half on no vid. 230. Okay. So, it's over 234 right there. 234 and a half. I like it. Especially if it's at 40 um I'm sorry, 52%. Yeah, that makes sense why it's at 52%. So, if you were to kick it up to 235 and a half, it would probably be somewhere around the same the same as those other two. That means you're getting two to one on your money, right? I want you guys to remember this. Both of the or both of the stars for these teams, the guys who really put the ball in the cup, they do it by attacking the basket. There are many different things that happen when you attack the basket. The first one is you get fouled. Fouls are great because fouls allow you to put points on the board without the clock. Clock stop. The second part about fouls is the more fouls you draw, the worse their defense gets because now their guys are in foul trouble. They can't afford to get anybody else in foul trouble. So now they give up easier layups, easier moves. Also, when you've got guys who attack the basket, what does that open up? Wide open, easy rhythm three-pointers for three-point shooters. You have some of the better three-point shooters on both of these teams. You have guys who attack the rim on both of these teams. Paulo Benro is a monster. Johnson for Atlanta is a monster. You're going to see this game and you'll know it because the possessions matter. Anything 100 plus tells you they're getting anywhere in the 115 to 120 range um per like per team. So if those 100 plus possessions in a game tells you that they can get somewhere into the 110 115 range, right? This is what you're going to want. Watch for the first six minutes of the game. In the first six minutes of the game, watch how many fouls. If the fouls are over five, guess what? That means going to be a lot of foul foul shooting. These these these offensive players know when they get the other team in foul trouble, they just keep on inviting fouls, Dane. And so I think this is one that especially if you're seeing it in the first six minutes, it might be at 240 by the time you get in. So, I'm going to tell people to get in right now. 235 and a half again. Trading at Well, it was trading at 48%. It looks like it's 49% right now. Yeah, it is on Koshi. Before we were looking at Novig, now we on Koshi. Yeah, we're on Koshi. It's at 48% right now on Koshi. Um, get in right now. Um, Poly Market, like I said, is at 48 to 49%. Novig somewhere close to the same. Um, I think it's a great play to start the season. two teams that have high expectations, but two teams that play with pace, and that's what we're looking for. Yeah, I like that a lot, Gan. You know, the pace numbers are definitely something I look at at the NBA. And, you know, I I got a couple of looks in the NBA as well. I look at some of these high total games, and I'm focused on a couple of studs that I think have um something to prove a little bit this season, right? So, first I go over to the Pacers and the Pelicans. This is one of the highest totals on the board, I believe, at 239 and a half. And the guy I'm looking at is on the Indiana side. I'm looking at Tyrese Hallebertton, right? People, I think, forgot about Tyrese Hallebertton on some level. One of the best absolute point guards in the league and I think Tyrese Hallebertton is going to come back out. You can get his points plus assist because remember this is a dude that averages 910 assists a game as well. And I think he is going to do work. I'd go over the points and assist at 25 and a half today. I think that's something because New Orleans, they cannot stop anybody. And then in the late night game, I'm looking at Golden State and Los Angeles. Right now, when it comes to Golden State, Los Angeles, again, another high total above 230. The Golden State Warriors, I This is not a a team that has the defense that they used to have. And I'm looking at Luca Donuch, okay? No more LeBron James there anymore. This is now Luca Donuch's team. Luca Donuch actually in better shape than he has been before. at the beginning of the season. Luca Donuch is healthier than he usually is. So, give me Luca to get in the 30s and kind of announce himself as his team in this game, too. Tyresese Hallebertton, Luca Donuch are a couple of guys that I really like. But what I want to tell the people, Gene, is we've got some great tools at the Seven Oracles prediction market picks. If you go, Alex, to the sports tab and you can see underneath for the NBA hub, you can see injury report plus who benefits. I think this is a great tool for people to understand. Okay. Uh it it comes online kind of in the afternoon. So, you're seeing what we have yesterday, right? One o'clock is when it updates. Exactly. And you may you know about this in football, right? In the NFL for the one o'clock games at 11:30, 90 minutes before you get the activives and the inactives. In the NBA, it's a little bit different, right? At the NBA, it goes all the way up until tip off. And you never know, is a guy going to play? Is a guy not going to play? And this creates such a huge pivot point for your analysis, for your plays, your trades, your props, your bets, whatever it is that you use this data for. Right? So, what we've done over at the Seven Oracles is kind of proactively created the fork in the road for you. Okay? What we're going to do every night is we are going to let you know kind of who the top five guys are or in every game who the guys are that are questionable and we are going to play it out one way or another. Right? Uh I've been talking about guys like Tyrese Hallebert and Luca Donuch, right? You're going to be able to see for the Lakers game. Here's what it's going to look like. Here's our projections if Luca goes. I'm not talking about tonight. I'm talking about into the season, right? Second on a backtoback or when someone's questionable with an injury. Here's what it looks like if this player goes. Here's what it looks like if the player doesn't go. So, you can go ahead and have yourself ready. Have your game plan. Who takes advantage of the usage, right? Who ticks up? Who ticks down? Who is that guy that's going to soak up three more rebounds? Who is that guy that's probably going to get four to five more shot attempts? And we think this is a great tool now that the NBA has started. Another reason, Gan, to go on over to the Seven Oracles and make it a part of your regular preparation process. You got to stop by the website every single day to see who are the guys in question, what kind of the smart players and the edges are if they go, and what the smart plays and the edges are if they don't. So that when you get that kind of lineups lock in at 6:30 p.m. Eastern or whatever it is, you don't have to scrap all your preparation and start from scratch. We already told you because we're giving you the fork in the road. It is a great tool over at the Seven Oracles and well worth it. Especially, Gan, if you use the promo code NFL26. Absolutely. And and just the the idea, right, that you can see who benefits. Yeah. That's the key, right? Because it's not just about, oh, this person's going to going to be out. Who stands to to have the most to gain? Like for instance, we we'll use the Luca Donic example. If Luca Donic doesn't play, then take Austin Austin Reeves Austin Reeves points, rebounds, and assists for whatever it is on there because he is now Luca Donuch, right? Like that's the that's the thing when whenever Luca's not there, Austin Reeves becomes Luca Donuch like. And so you have to be able to know when to get that in. And the earlier you know that information, the better. So I I did think that's that's fantastic.
