How to use Polymarket in the US

To use Polymarket in the US, you trade on Polymarket US through the Polymarket App or polymarket.us. Create an account, verify your identity, deposit, then buy a contract. A winning contract settles at $1.00 and a losing one at $0.00. Polymarket US is available in every state except Nevada.

Step 2: Verify your identity

You provide your date of birth, a phone number, your legal name, your residential address and your Social Security number. Polymarket US says most users are verified automatically; some are asked for a government-issued ID and a selfie check. You must be at least 18, and older in a few states.

Step 4: Buy a contract
