How this settles
Resolves YES if the seasonally adjusted BLS CPI-U All Items Less Food and Energy (Core CPI) month-over-month change for November 2026 is strictly above 0.4%.
- Strictly above 0.4%, not at or above — A print of exactly 0.4% does NOT resolve YES — the rules require the increase to be *above* 0.4%, so a position holder expecting a tie at 0.4% to count as YES would be wrong.
- Seasonally adjusted figure only — The rules specify the seasonally adjusted series; the unadjusted (NSA) Core CPI print, which can differ meaningfully, is irrelevant to resolution.
- BLS revision risk — which print counts — The rules don't specify whether the initial release or a subsequent BLS revision governs; if the market resolves on the first print but a later revision crosses the 0.4% threshold (or vice versa), traders could be caught off guard.
- November 2026, not November 2025 — The resolution month is November 2026 (reported ~December 2026), which is further out than many traders may assume given the market's generic title.
