Quick Answer
The 2026 Zane Grey Championship Playoffs — the Sport Fishing Championship (SFC) final — run Oct. 17–18 at Corazón Cabo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Four angling clubs start at zero: Third Coast Renegades, Gulf Coast Cowboys, New Jersey Sea Birds and South Florida Sails. It streams on ESPN and YouTube. Last year the Texas Lone Stars won with 4,550 points, 150 ahead of the Renegades.

Atlantic champs, 3rd in Cabo last year. Fought through a busted trim tab and still won the division.

Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, at Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico — the third straight year in Cabo. Lines-in time is to be confirmed by SFC.

Four: Third Coast Renegades and Gulf Coast Cowboys from the Gulf Division, and New Jersey Sea Birds and South Florida Sails from the Atlantic Division. The Renegades won the Gulf; the Sea Birds won the Atlantic. All four start at zero points.
Every billfish is released on video and scored by species: blue marlin 450, black marlin 450, striped marlin 100, white marlin 100, spearfish 100, sailfish 75 (2025 SFC rules). Ties go to the club with the earliest qualifying release.
The Texas Lone Stars, with 4,550 points (41 striped marlin and one blue). Third Coast Renegades were 150 back at 4,400, then New Jersey Sea Birds at 4,000 and Lights Out Boston at 3,825. The four clubs released 165 billfish, 162 of them striped marlin.
Nothing is weighed — the Zane Grey is catch-and-release on camera. The big-fish moments are the 450-point blue and black marlin, and one of those is worth four and a half striped marlin.
Not that we've found. As of Sept. 27, 2026, Kalshi has a fishing-tournament series on its books with no open contract, and neither Kalshi nor Polymarket lists the Zane Grey. The odds on this page are The 7 Oracles' own read, and the pick'em is free and just for fun.
