How this settles
Resolves YES if the Fed's official website shows the upper bound of the federal funds target rate is strictly greater than 3.75% after the April 28, 2027 FOMC meeting.
- Strictly greater than, not at or above 3.75% — A rate of exactly 3.75% does NOT resolve YES — the threshold is strictly greater than 3.75%, so a position holder needs the upper bound to be at least 4.00% (the next standard 25 bps increment).
- Official Fed website is sole data source — Only the rate as published on the Federal Reserve's official website counts, so discrepancies from third-party data providers, CME, or news reports are irrelevant to resolution.
- Post-meeting print, not intra-meeting changes — Only the rate published following the April 28, 2027 meeting matters; any earlier or later adjustments (e.g., emergency inter-meeting moves) do not affect resolution.
- No scheduled meeting could void resolution — If the Fed cancels or does not hold a meeting on April 28, 2027, resolution criteria may not be met, creating ambiguity about whether the market settles or is voided.
