How this settles
Resolves YES if the BLS-reported CPI 12-month inflation rate for the period ending November 2026 is strictly greater than 5.0%, using the one-decimal-place figure published by the BLS.
- One-decimal BLS print, not full precision — The contract uses the rounded one-decimal-place value (e.g., 5.0% vs. 5.04%), so an unrounded rate just above 5.0% could round down to exactly 5.0% and resolve NO, or vice versa.
- Strictly greater than 5.0%, not 5.0% itself — A print of exactly 5.0% does NOT resolve YES — the threshold is strictly above 5.0%, so traders long YES need the rounded figure to be at least 5.1%.
- Initial release vs. subsequent BLS revisions — The rules don't specify whether resolution uses the first BLS release or a later revised print, which matters if BLS revises the figure after initial publication.
