How this settles
Resolves YES if the federal funds rate upper bound published on the Fed's official website is strictly greater than 4.00% after the April 28, 2027 FOMC meeting.
- Strictly greater than, not at or above 4.00% — A rate of exactly 4.00% resolves NO — only a rate of 4.25% or higher (given standard 25 bps increments) resolves YES, so positions near the 4.00% boundary carry asymmetric risk.
- Single specific meeting date, not year-end — The contract locks in the rate as of the April 28, 2027 meeting only — any subsequent May or June 2027 rate changes are irrelevant, so traders must track FOMC meeting scheduling changes or cancellations carefully.
- Official Fed website as sole data source — Only the rate as published on the Federal Reserve's official website counts — CME, Bloomberg, or other data vendors may show different or delayed figures and cannot be used to confirm resolution.
