How this settles
Resolves YES if the WTI crude oil daily settlement price (for the relevant contract month) on the settlement date is strictly above the threshold in USD per barrel.
- Strictly above threshold — exact hit resolves NO — The rule uses 'above', not 'at or above', so a settlement price exactly equal to the threshold resolves NO, not YES.
- Specific contract month vs. front-month distinction — Some contracts in this series specify a named futures contract month (e.g., October 2026), while others use the front-month settle price — these can differ meaningfully in price, so traders must confirm which definition applies to their specific contract.
- Daily settlement price, not intraday price — Resolution uses the official daily settlement (closing) price published by CME/NYMEX for WTI crude oil, not any intraday high, low, or spot quote — a price spike during the session that doesn't survive to settlement is irrelevant.
These are the rules for the whole series — every contract in it settles the same way. Full KXWTI settlement rules →
