**Key takeaway.** Two couples go home on *Dancing with the Stars* tonight, and Kalshi has picked them: **Jackson Olson 70¢–72¢ and Tyler Cameron 58¢–59¢** to be eliminated, with Tatyana Ali at 30¢–31¢ and Connor Wood at 19¢–20¢ behind them (3:15 p.m. ET). Coach Gene Clemons' rule hasn't changed all season: you don't need the winner, you need the survivors, so read the **No** side on the names with big followings. He named Ali, Cameron and Julia Stiles. The market has already moved his way on Ali (39¢ to go at the board's first close on Oct. 21, 30¢ now) and Stiles (11¢ to 6¢), but not on Cameron. On the winner board Ezra Frech is **66¢–68¢**, and Gene and Dane Martinez would both rather own the field.

Nobody went home on Dedication Night. "It's kind of weird to eliminate someone who's dancing as a dedication," Coach Gene Clemons said on The 7 Oracles' live show the next morning. So the judges' scores and viewer votes from October 20 carry over into tonight's Horror Movie Night, and two couples are eliminated instead of one.

That makes tonight the cleanest test yet of the rule Gene has repeated since September. "You don't have to win these things," he said. "You just have to not get voted off."

The clip below, published today, is the *Dancing with the Stars* segment of that October 21 show: Gene on the double elimination and the None contract, Dane Martinez working backward from the November 24 finale the way he did on *Big Brother*, and the two of them on Frech versus the field. Every price in this piece is Kalshi's, read this afternoon.

*Board opened: Oct. 21, 11:20 a.m. ET · Tatyana Ali, first close → now: 39¢ → 30¢ · Market closes: 11:59 p.m. ET tonight*

*Read from Kalshi's public API at 3:15 p.m. ET, Oct. 27. Yes bid/ask in cents; a cent is roughly a percentage point. Two couples go home, so two contracts settle Yes and the Yes column adds up to about 200¢.*

On Dedication Night the four lowest scores were a four-way tie at 32 of 40: Cameron, Ali, Olson and Wood. Those scores carry into tonight, so all four start three to six points behind everyone else; Maura Higgins' 35 was the next score up. The market has decided the two to go are Olson, the Savannah Bananas second baseman, and Cameron, and today it got surer about Olson. He closed Monday at 63¢ and is 70¢–72¢ this afternoon, while Wood slid from 27¢ to 19¢–20¢.

Gene's read on the bottom of the board is about followings, not footwork. The couples at the top of the judges' scores aren't going home, he said: "That's not where the fun is. The fun is when you get down to the bottom." He named three: Tatyana Ali, Tyler Cameron and Julia Stiles. "It's not about them winning. It's about them not getting voted off next week, when there's going to be too many people voted off." You look at where they're trading, he said, "and you want to be able to pick no on those people."

He said that before the market existed. "They don't have it up yet," he said on air; Kalshi listed it at 11:20 a.m. ET, minutes after the show ended. Here is what his three names, and the two the market has picked, have done since:

| Couple | Dedication Night (of 40) | To be eliminated, first close (Oct. 21) | Now, bid–ask | No now, bid–ask | No profit per contract if they survive |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jackson Olson & Emma Slater | 32 | 61¢ | 70¢–72¢ | 28¢–30¢ | 70¢ on 30¢ |
| **Tyler Cameron & Sharna Burgess** | 32 | 57¢ | **58¢–59¢** | **41¢–42¢** | **58¢ on 42¢** |
| **Tatyana Ali & Jan Ravnik** | 32 | 39¢ | **30¢–31¢** | **69¢–70¢** | **30¢ on 70¢** |
| Connor Wood & Rylee Arnold | 32 | 27¢ | 19¢–20¢ | 80¢–81¢ | 19¢ on 81¢ |
| **Julia Stiles & Ezra Sosa** | 36 | 11¢ | **6¢–7¢** | **93¢–94¢** | **6¢ on 94¢** |

*Kalshi daily close and live bid–ask, read 3:15 p.m. ET Oct. 27. Profit is on a No bought at the ask, before Kalshi's fee. Gene's three names in bold.*

Read it left to right and his framework is already half priced. A No on Ali bought at the first close cost about 61¢; it bids 69¢ this afternoon, before anyone has danced. Stiles' No has gone from 89¢ to 93¢–94¢, which leaves 6¢ of profit on 94¢ of risk. That trade is mostly gone.

Cameron is the one name where Gene's read and the market still disagree. He closed his first day at 57¢ to go and is 58¢–59¢ now. His No costs 41¢–42¢ and pays 58¢ a contract if his *Bachelorette* following carries him one more week. It is also the costliest of the three in fees: Kalshi's per-contract fee is largest on contracts priced near 50¢, so run a 42¢ No through the [fee calculator](https://predictionmarketspicks.com/tools/kalshi-fee-calculator) before you size it.

Gene's framing of tonight is that it's where the following meets the scoreboard. "We're going to find out just how popular an Ezra Frech is, and just how popular a Jenna Dewan is, just how popular a Harry Shum is," he said. The question is whether a high grade from the judges, plus whatever following you have, can survive "the overwhelming popularity of a Tatyana Ali," or a Julia Stiles. The market's answer: Dewan 5¢–6¢ to go, Higgins 4¢–5¢, Shum 2¢–3¢, Amber Glenn 1¢–2¢, Frech under a penny. Add up the top six scorers from Dedication Night and the board gives about a one-in-five chance that one of them is ambushed tonight.

## The None contract, and why it's dead tonight

Dedication Night was the first week this season that Kalshi's elimination market carried a None contract, and it was the one to own. It opened that morning at 50¢ bid, climbed into the low 80s before the show and paid a dollar. Asked whether you could have gotten in on None once it listed, Gene said, "You definitely could have."

He also gave the other side of it. None traded around 75¢ on show night, so the No on None cost about 25¢. "If they did decide to vote someone out, you were going to get four to one on your money," he said. They didn't, and None settled Yes.

Tonight None is 0¢–1¢. The show has announced the double elimination, so there is nothing left for that contract to price. It matters again on the nights the format is in doubt, which is Dane's point.

## Dane's math: count backward from Nov. 24

Dane learned this on *Big Brother*. "I worked backwards for *Big Brother* on, like, when the season finale was," he said. "'Oh man, they've only got like four more episodes left, but there's far too many people still here. They're going to have to do a bunch of double eliminations.'"

Run it on this season. Ten couples dance tonight; eight will be left tomorrow. The finale is November 24, and three shows stand between tonight and it: Disney Night, Grammy Night and the semifinals. One elimination a night gets you to a five-couple finale. A four-couple finale means one of those nights is another double, and in a double the third and fourth names on the board are live, not cheap insurance.

That is the edge Dane is describing: know whether "there's going to be None offered again," or another double elimination, before the weekly board lists. Gene called it a good barometer. The doubles come earlier in the season, he said, and the format builds to a head-to-head at the end between the four or five couples who have been at the top of the scores all year: Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Dewan, Ezra Frech and Amber Glenn.

## Frech at 67¢: the favorite or the field?

**Kalshi · Dancing with the Stars Season 35 winner · KXDANCINGWITHTHESTARS-26DEC31 · Oct. 27, 2026, 3:15 p.m. ET**

| Jackson Olson | 0¢ | 1¢ | **0.5¢** | — |

*Frech going into the premiere: 8¢ · The other nine, at the ask: 40¢ · Frech No, at the ask: 34¢*

*Read from Kalshi's public API at 3:15 p.m. ET, Oct. 27. Frech's daily closes: about 8¢ before the Sept. 15 premiere, 50¢ on Sept. 29, 57¢ on Oct. 21, 64¢ on Oct. 25. Six eliminated contestants have settled No and are omitted. Settles on the Nov. 24 finale.*

"It's a runaway," Dane said of Frech, and the board agrees: 66¢–68¢, up ten cents since the show aired and up from about 8¢ before the premiere. Gene's reply was that it wasn't always this way. Going into the September 15 premiere, Jenna Dewan was the favorite at 22¢, Jackson Olson was 18¢ and Harry Shum Jr. 16¢; Frech was sixth on the board at 8¢. Tonight Dewan is 3¢–4¢, Shum is 2¢–3¢, and Olson is 70¢–72¢ to go home. "This isn't insider trading," Gene said. It's people putting money on Frech "based off of how well he dances and his popularity. And I'm telling you that, depending upon the week, that could be any one of these top people."

On the judges' cards there is no runaway. Dedication Night: Glenn 38, Frech 37, Dewan 37, Shum 36, Stiles 36, Higgins 35. The top six were three points apart, and Dewan danced that night with Alan Bersten while her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, served a one-week suspension; he's back with her tonight. The 67¢ is mostly the market's read on the vote.

Asked whether he'd rather sprinkle on Glenn, Higgins and Dewan or own Frech, Dane didn't hesitate. "I'll always take the field." Then the sizing: "If I took $100 and just put $25 on Harry Shum, right?" Gene: "For sure. For sure." And the exit, which is the whole trade: don't hold for the finale. "The more he doesn't get eliminated," the price rises, and "it's like, just cash out."

Dane has done it before. On *Big Brother 28* he bought a houseguest at about 4% who reached the final three and traded as high as 23%. "Did she win? No," he said. "There's your cash-out opportunity." His read on this board is the same: when the fat is trimmed and only five couples are left, "you've got to split the pie chart, and they're all going to get bigger slices."

Three things the board adds to that.

**The cheapest way to own the field is Frech's No.** At the ask it costs 34¢ and pays $1 if anyone but Frech wins. Buying the other nine couples one by one costs 40¢ for the same payoff. The single-name contracts only earn that extra 6¢ if you have a view on *which* couple, and the one Dane named, Shum at 2¢–3¢, is a lottery-sized position by design.

**Tonight's cuts free up almost nothing.** The four couples most likely to go home hold between 1¢ and 5¢ of winner value combined, bid to ask. For Shum's 3¢ to become 6¢, the market has to take share from Frech or Glenn, not from the bottom of the board. That happens on the weeks a contender outscores Frech or the vote surprises, which is Gene's "depending upon the week."

**The Top 3 market is already trading the followings.** Between Friday's close and this afternoon, two of the show's best dancers were marked down hard and its biggest following was marked up:

| Couple | Top 3 · Kalshi, Oct. 23 close | Now, bid–ask |
|---|---|---|
| Ezra Frech | 91¢ | 90¢–92¢ |
| Amber Glenn | 66¢ | 73¢–74¢ |
| **Julia Stiles** | **20¢** | **35¢–42¢** |
| Maura Higgins | 60¢ | 28¢–34¢ |
| Jenna Dewan | 27¢ | 22¢–27¢ |
| Harry Shum Jr. | 44¢ | 22¢–27¢ |

*Kalshi KXDWTSTOP3-26DEC31, daily close and live bid–ask read 3:15 p.m. ET Oct. 27. Each contract pays $1 if that couple finishes in the top three.*

Stiles nearly doubled. Higgins and Shum, two of the six best scores on Dedication Night, were cut nearly in half. That's the market coming around to the read in [Gene's Season 35 breakdown](https://predictionmarketspicks.com/articles/dancing-with-the-stars-odds-kalshi-elimination-market-2026) on October 20, which had Stiles as a Top 3 contract rather than a winner contract when her Top 3 was 12¢ bid. It also means the hosts' sprinkle on the dancers is cheaper than it was on Friday. If you think the dancers are being sold too hard, this is where that view is priced: Dewan and Shum at 22¢–27¢, Higgins at 28¢–34¢, each paying $1 for a spot in the final three.

## How to use this

- **Read the No side on the names with followings, and check the price path first.** Ali's and Stiles' No contracts have already moved Gene's way; Cameron's hasn't. A No bought after the move pays less than one bought when the board opened, and every weekly board lists the morning after the show.
- **Count couples against shows, every week.** Eight couples after tonight, three shows before the November 24 finale. When the arithmetic calls for another double, the third and fourth names on the elimination board are worth more than a single-elimination week says.
- **Own the field in pieces you can sell.** Frech's No is the cheapest way to own everyone else; single names are for a view on one couple. Either way, plan the exit before the finale, and size the small ones like the longshots they are with the [EV calculator](https://predictionmarketspicks.com/tools/ev-calculator) and the [Kelly tool](https://predictionmarketspicks.com/tools/kelly). The [probability converter](https://predictionmarketspicks.com/tools/probability-converter) turns any of these prices into odds.

"If you're trying to invest in *Dancing with the Stars*," Gene said, "now is the time."
